What about all the disrespectful tramps (or other men) that are single and willing to hop in the bed with a married person. Do you think they should be punished also for participating? Maybe it would deter some of them for trying to find a man at anyones cost. What do you think?

I think cheating SHOULD be punishable by law...marriage is binding in all legal ways..you share the same last name, and bank account, and you know everything about that person....So marriage should be thought of as a union that...should you not live up to the promises you make before the judge on your wedding day, then you should be punished for it. Just as in laws you can get punished for being an accomplice to a crime, then you should be punished for being an accomplice to breaking the "law" of marriage...

I hear what your saying and I think the bigger punishment for some would be to have to marry the one they cheated with, it would serve them right to have to live with the hurt and pain the one that was cheated on does...but that's not realistic

I think if a person cheats on a spouse or lover the one that was cheated on should be the one that sets the punishment for the crime...as I see it the cheater would be running around without his privates/manhood or the woman disfigured for life...that would definitely cut down on the cheaters cheating in this lifetime

I do exactly not recognize how society has becocme so prepared to forgive dishonest after per week. After Brad Pitt dumoed Jennifer and Angelina confirmed up pregnant everybody become so accepting and it completely bowled over me. it isn't ok and that i'm in user-friendly words 15 and that i already have witnessed dishonest being widely used in my own kinfolk. it isn't ok and could maximum definitley be taken as breaking the regulation. because you do have a criminal marriage license and that i trust that dishonest should be adverse to the marriage code, yet i'm sorry.

Honey, government, and the law has no place in your bedroom..... We already have some states that allow a pharmacist to deny a woman bc pills because HE doesn't believe in birth control (Target Pharmacies in South Dakota, for one).... we already have a government that has outlawed stem cell research because of what it defines as life (other countries hav no such problem.... Buddhists and other western countries like Italy, Spain, England have no problem with stem cell research....) We already have a government who will not help women on welfare to have less children. Frankly, I could not care less what a woman or a man does with his or her own body.... just don't push your opinions on me, and be in my bedroom and in my exam room with my physician!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you very much.
