I have a few ideas that might make things better for you.
1.) Spend it with other friends or relatives who are also single.
2.) Volenteer to babysit for friends of relatives who want to go out for valentines day.
3.) Volenteer at a homeless shelter or foodbank for the night. You won't be spending valentines alone, you will be giving to those in need, and you might find personal forfillment.
4.) Visit some elderly person who is lonely. - maybe a grandparent
5.) If you live in a big centre, there might be a speed-dating thing going on that night for other single people.
6.) If all else fails, make the night special for yourself. Rent a movie, or get a good book from the library. Make your home comfortable, and make yourself a nice meal, and enjoy the evening by yourself.

I've been spending Valentines day alone for 4 years now. Usually I just stay at home all day long, watch romantic comedies, feel-good movies etc. I know it's sad. But life goes on :-)

Lots of people are alone everyday! Why not go spend time with some older folks who would appreciate some company? You will feel great doing this for others and not worrying about "poor ol' me."

Go hand out roses at a nursing home. Volunteer to help someone less fortunate. You will find satisfaction in helping others which can lead to finding the right relationship and love. Godspeed

Hi Emily..... Valentines Day is over-rated. It's better to be a lone than to be with someone just so your not alone.
If all else fails...spend it with friends or family. And if you're over 18... I'm not busy that night either...lol.

valentines day is highly over rated.don't get budged by all the drama. half the couples who go out on valentines day,don't even remain together for that month. its all so fake and for the heck of it. go out with your friends who don't have a date and flirt with the all the cute single boys, good luck. keep fit. look cute !

Go t the park and feed Pigeons or birds...take some seeds woith you and then maybe...your Prince charming will walk up.
