Some of my buddies have said that they will only marry women from other cultures (Hispanic, Asian) because they feel they get better treatment and don't have a "princess complex" like many American women.

My buddies have made up their minds. I'm on the fence on this issue. Do they have a point?

They say American women (rightly) expect to be treated specially ("open my doors, bring me flowers, pay for our dates , take care of me. . .").

How do they reciprocate? By offering the pleasure of their company

They'd never dream of fixing a man a plate and actually serving it. They feel it would be demeaning. "I'm not your SLAVE. . . . . but, you'd better open my doors."

By contrast, we (4 of us) were invited to the home of a Latina for dinner. She and the other Latinas actually served us and THEN they ate themselves. We were stunned. We didn't ask for or expect it.

But, those ladies understand that the door of service swings both ways. Many American women don't get that.

My sons friend act as if he is a little gay he is only 8,but when ever he comes over to play with my son he always wants to go and play in the room instead of outside.I dont want to call the boy gay if he isn't but i dont want to send a message to my son as if he has to be that way.I dont have nothing bad to say about gay people but i was a little worried.What to do?

This guy dated me for a week, then broke it off unexpectedly without giving me a reason why. Well just to show that it didn't hurt my feelings, we decided to be friends but then again, I still get a feeling for him. Well a week or so after he broke it off we were talking online. I ask him what is on his mind, he says that he was just thinking about the fun that we had together, which is why he didnt answer my questions much. I asked him what he meant by that and he said that he didn't know. Later on, in another conversation, like 2 days later, I ask him the same ? and he says that he was thinking about me. I asked him why and he said "it could be because i am talking to you, you're pretty, many reasons." Not only that, he leaves me confused when we have conversations. We start off arguing about him not wanting a relationship like he said he wanted with me before. But then, we start having a normal conversation. What is really going on here? What should I do, play hard to get?

well my two guy friends that I've known like forever hate me because I am friends with this boy that they don't like. They say that he is racist and they want to beat him and all this stuff, just stupid boy stuff. And they don't want me to be friends with him or talk to him for all these dumb reasons, soo now they won't talk to me and they are really mean to me at school and they make things very bad for me ( the one day I got soo upset I cried which I really never do) and I know he's not racist or he wouldn't be talking to me and stuff. I hate them hating me cuz they are supposed to be my real friends cuz I grew up with the one boy and did everything together. I really want my friends back but I also still want to be friends with this kid and I can't take them being sooo mean anymore. I live in Florida, as does my parents. My mother has stood by my father for over thirty years, raising his grandson from a former marriage, being his unpaid secretary for his two businesses, taking his flack, and so much more. He always gives her the short end of the stick (little or no money, emotional abuse, not setting up a will that will leave her with security if he dies first). For the last couple of years, he has closed out their joint bank account and put all the money under his name several times. He did it the first time because she started getting a social security check and wanted to keep that piddly check for her personal needs (clothes, food, cigarettes, toiletries, and a bit of fun-- like eating out once in a while). My dad is no good with the money anyway, forgetting to pay bills and so on. My mom would like to divorce him, but lawyers say it will cost her $5000, up front! Besides, she would have to sue for her part of things! Is there a better way?

My sister and her husband just had a baby together. From the beginning of their relationship they have always told each other about their ex's. He always brags about his sexual relationships to my sister. Before the baby he always made sexual jokes in front of the rest of my family. (Less lately) We felt uncomfortable, but my sister said that he felt comfortable around us. I am very close to my sister so I always dismissed his jokes as just jokes. Him and I have got along from the start. He used to be more open with me at family gatherings, and had called me a few times in the past to say hello. Lately he has been acting very distant with my family. He won't make eye contact at all when he talks to us. He's not affectionate with my sister at all. He work's second shift so he usually get's home at 1:30, in the past month he has had three flat tires and has come home at 4 in the morning. He also joking said to me "what if we had gotten together" , or "my second wife" in front my sister.

i need help i can not keep it anymore i want to share it with you hoping to find an solution, my family live in palestain, and i live in canada, i tried to bring them to live with me becouse of the war we have their, i have tried to get them visa, did not work, i have tried to sponsor them did not work either, i have to make per year 32, 000 thousands dollar to sponsor only one person, especially my mom, did not work either, i work part time and it will not work becouse i will never make the 32 thousands dollar , i got marry, my husbend work in another country, and i miss my familly and i am scared a lot for them, especialy my brothers, am not happy, i do not enjoy anything in life , i always think of my familly and i know the denger they live with especially my brothers , what should i do, i feel like am useless, i want them to live me in canada, where it is peace, secure and safe , but i can not i need help what should i do please anything anything, i can not live like this anymore.
