Congratulations!

Using street performers, friends dressed up as cops or public service men who attend your loved one and then surprise her with a romantic letter from you, asking her to marry you – all means are good, just make sure your unique marriage proposal consists of romance, humor, style, drama and glamor. The unique mix of these elements ensures that you create a successful marriage proposal. Best of Luck..

First off, congratulations!!

Second, what kind of things does she like? Sports? Cooking? I would try to find someway to do it around an event she likes. If she likes sports and you ask in enough advance notice some major sports venues will let you ask marriage on their big screen (typewritten of course)..that would be cool. Or you could do something more small and intimate just you two with a dinner of her favorite foods that you cooked yourself, then slip the ring in a glass of champagne. Make sure you have lots of flowers on the table (her favorite kind, not just roses). You can have it behind a plane with a banner behind it (not sure how much these are, and you'd have to have her outside at the time and place of choosing). Lots of different ways to do it...congratultions again!

Well, do not propose on Valentine's Day. Although it is a very romantic day, its also a very common day to do this. You need to do it on a day she will never suspect it. Get a bunch of rose pedals, and spell it out. That is a good way to do it. Hide the ring in food. Ummmm over a romantic dinner that you cooked. Be sure to write a letter telling her how wonderful you think she is...do not just do the whole "will you marry me" thing. You need to really convey to her how much she means to you.

Be verrry creative and romantic. Maybe give her a clue, to follow to somewhere else there is a clue, and leave a pink rose. Like...a clue that leads her to the bedroom, leave a pink rose and a clue there next to some dressy clothes she needs to put on. Then, have that one lead to her car, where there's another rose and clue. Have a bunch more clues, and have the last one lead her to a nice restaurant, where there can be a bouquet of roses on the table, and the box with the ring in it. Wait til she opens it, and come up behind her and propose on one knee. Totally surprise her!!

I was always cleaning so my ex stuffed a ring box in the couch and waited for me to find it. He just happened to be in the shower when I did and when I went to question him about why he threw open the curtain did a cute little dance all wet and everything. It was so funny. I couldnt have expected a better proposal.

take out for a picnic, if there are any really nice vineyards near consider going for a walk and some wine tasting, but call ahead and see if they can make a custom label ( most vineyards can do this ) and have it say " Will you marry me" on her favorite wine, and like they say for wine, you can tell her if she says yes " it all gets better with time " good luck and hope it all goes well.

And ask her dad thats the best thing you can do

Ask her dad for permission first. That meant the world to me, but my husband was too chickenshit to ask him even after we planned when and where to get married. It really hurt me a lot that he couldnt even manage to ask my dad.

Especially since my dad loved him and was waiting and waiting for him to ask so he could say yes and tell him how much he loved my husband and the thought of us being together.

Dont be a whimpy man. God i hate that.

As for purposing... anything is better than nothing. Even the traditional purposal on one knee after dinner. Just SOMETHING.

I never got purposed to. I never even got asked. I dont even know how we ended up planning a marriage. I think it was something like- me: "iam going to marry you some day" him: "okay."

God i have such great memories of all those wonderful important times in my life. *sigh*

Take her out to eat, Chinese Restaurant. Prepare the fortune cookies in advance (2 of them)...there are places around you can buy fortune cookies without the paper inside, you need to make up your own paper that says "will you marry me?" on it and place it in the cookie. Give the cookies to the waitress in advance and tell her to serve them to you after dinner. Have a nice dinner and then when the cookies arrive it won't matter which one she picks. It is really awesome! This is exactly what happened to me, and I can say it was really nice. Prayers =)

There are lots of way to do it... My brother bought a bunch of roses and candles and spread them around the living room of the house he had just bought with his girlfriend on the day they moved in... Another friend of mine brought his girlfriend bicycling up to a romantic place in the woods and proposed to her there... Just use your imagination and come up with something romantic, the most romantic idea is the one that's really special and personal to the two of you!

Do something you know your girl will appreciate. Something that you obviously put a lot of thought into. Girls love that kind of stuff! lol ... or you can do what I'm gonna do with my b/f once I can pay his ring off - do a whole bunch of stuff that you know she'll hate! Make it a day about you that you just wanted her to tag along on ... and then before she gets too peeved ... get down on that knee with that beautiful ring ... and surprise her like she really never expected!! Good Luck!!!!
