She says she wants to be friends, but she eagerly listens as I tell her my deepest secrets. Why?

I asked her if she liked me, and I pointed out how I thought she flirted with me, but I said I could not date her at this time. She said, "We can still have a good friendship!" Since then, we have gotten closer than ever to where she listens and even begs me to tell her my secret thoughts and goals. She now knows me so well! Why did she want to know me this well?

well it sounds like she liked/likes you. You said you told her you couldn't date her at the time, and she offered that you two stay good friends. I think that was just her way of keeping in touch with you and not losing you completely. If you are getting closer than ever, I'd watch out because it can turn into something more than friendship and you may not want that right now. I think she wants to get to know you better because you may start to like her. Then again, she could just be a really good friend. You can always ask to be sure.
