See my question from yesterday re: my refusal to wear a wedding ring and her refusal to accede to my request.

Summary: I hate wearing jewelry of any sort. Not even a watch. She knows this. She still insists that I wear a ring.

We have always agreed not to force the other to do something that either is very uncomfortable with. This is my first refusal; I'm easy.

She has refused one request I've made repeatedly. Finally, I just decided to respect her views. BTW, my request is not illegal, dangerous, or unethical. She just has very strong feelings against it. So, I decided to respect that.

I suggested a compromise: I will wear the wedding ring on certain occassions if she agrees to my wishes on certain occasions. Seemed fair.

She says no, wear it everyday; her request is required. Mine is optional; I just want it, she says.

We're not breaking up, but I'm worried that our principle of mutual respect will only work for her.

I like this girl but do you think she can sense it? here's what i do when she's around: I stare at her; i try to hide behind my friend; i always joke around!; i don't react when she holds my hand; I do everything she tells me to do (like get a straw 4 her); i carry some of her stuffs...This is how she acts when i'm around: she asks me how am i ; she tells me to say stories or jokes to her; she asks me to accompany her to places; she tells me i'm cute and that she's fond of me; And most of all she tells me that i'm mean! (in a teasing way, like she tells me that i'm evil) hehe..i can also catch her staring at me...P.S i'm the first one to give up whenever we had an eye contact! i'm such a scaredy cat!

my friends parents rule her too much. they won't listen to her she is being forced to stay on for six form next year when she really don't want to she wants to be apprentice at a garage as she wants to be a machanic. her parents want her to be a dentist. even shes said it her self shes not brighter enough to be a dentist.
another reason they want her to stay on is so they don't loose the childs benifit money. now how cruel is that. i want some advice to give to her so she can make her own decison.

My daughter is on a trip with my ex and his brand new gf to visit his mother for the weekend. I didn't want my daughter exposed to the new gf on a trip as a family yet (we broke up 2 months ago he became exclusive with the new on one month ago even though he told me we were still 'working on it' so i would continue to sleep with him until he fond the replacement) BUT because I wanted her to see her grandmother i let her go. Shes 3. I asked for them to call me last night so I could tlk to her and they said that was fine but never did. Am I wrong for this bothering me and how should I react to it because I am upset adn want them to know It wasn't ok with me esp. since they knew how hard it was for me to let her go in the first place but i dont want to start any drama.

Otherwis,because laws are frequently different , especially regarding marriage/divorce etc (and also even cultural norms differ) we could be giving inaccurate suggestions based on knowledge of our own country rather than the asker.

My b/f has this feeling that I deserve someone far better than him. He feels that way mostly because sometimes in our arguements I got upset and he felt he hurt me. He also let me down a few times. so I thought "Ok, self, you need to visit the old bat in her new home" so I went. The whole place smelled like piss and ****. These wrinkly old bags were wandering the hallways mumbling or people in a wheelchair drooling and stuff. Just like a scene from a horror flick. On the way to gramma's room, some old dude came up to me and started talking to me, he had no teeth, pissed his pants, and had an obvious hard on. I thought that it was gross. I kicked him in the junk and told him to get the hell away from me and to get a life. The nursing supervisor got really mad at me.

Wouldn't you have kicked the old dude in the nuts if he was talking to you like that. Sick pervert he was

Why is it that a lot of men are scared or feel inadequate compared to sex toys, esp of their ladies have them? I cannot see why?! Surely it's not just a size thing?
A man and a sex toy are for different uses, even if the result is the same. I'd never expect to find a man that can spin and vibrate at high speed!! (if only!)
So c'mon guys whats to fear? I'm fascinated!
