I have been madly in love with someone who said they love me however it felt like they could care less if I were alive. It took about a year and half to decide that I needed more then what I was getting. I also had to ask myself "What is it about this person that makes you (in love) with them? Part of being in love is the reciprocation of validation, respect and love. Why would we love someone who doesn't care about us? Maybe it's human nature cause we see it as a challenge? Who knows. What it boils down to however is "what is going to make us happy" and not fall into what we can do to make them feel the same for us. It'll drive you nuts! Believe me!

Good Luck!

I think you are somewhat misguided. Love is an emotion shared between two people. It sounds like you really care for someone, and they are not returning those feelings, and due to insecurities, you feel because they are not returning those feelings, you are trying desperately to get them to feel the same, for no-one wants to feel rejected. If you love this person, and they don't care that your alive, would your emotion not be better spent on someone who will return those feelings? It's time to move on, sometimes, thats when your feelings are noticed, when you redirect them.

Yes! And I noticed there was a consistent pattern. So I got a book "Women Who Love Too Much". It helped. Good luck.
