You must first recognize that you have been conditioned to feel that way by Family, Society, media, etc.

You then need to ask yourself if that's the type of person you are? One who is in essence racist?

It doesn't sound like you are. It sound's like you like this guy and something like race should not interfere. I'm not sure if you believe in a higher power (whomever that might be) however I'm sure destiny for you was designed to make everyone around you happy and content. It was for you. If you slap love in the face because of something as simple as race it may come back to slap you back. Karma Baby! Give him and yourself a chance.

Good Luck!

No need to feel rejected, things are different now to long ago when, it may have been frowned on.Yes I married outside my race & although it has gone seriously wrong(legal complication)
I would certainly not have any hesitation if the situation ever arises again, to marry outside of my race, this life of ours is so short, Prime Time Happiness seems to be in short supply as well,& if that means Black n White so be it,I will look forward to it.

I'm Caucasian and I lean more towards birds of a feather flock together but were I in your position I would let the dictates of the situation between you and the one you love govern what you do ,,,, It's really no one else's business what you do as long as it's not against the law ,,,, You might get allot of crap from some people but allot of people need to mind their own business too ,,,, You can't satisfy every one so the only thing you should worry about is satisfying yourself and those immediately connected with you ,,,, As long as you aren't taking food off of anyones table or money out of their pockets or damaging someones property then I don't see a problem ,,,, Do what you want to do and don't worry about it ,,,, Only the ones that frown on this are the ones with the problem not you and they need to just get over it and live with it ,,,, Good luck ,,,,, Yoda told you this ,,,,

I'm white and seeing an Indo-Caribbean guy, I love the colour of his skin, it's beautiful; I would date a "non-white" again.

If this guy was to reject you for your colour, then in my opinion he's racist, and doesn't deserve a nice girlfriend. If he rejects you for another reason, that's life, join the club.

I do think you should look for the reason for your fear - why would your race be a negative point? I think people of Hispanic appearance are very attractive, and I'm sure I'm not alone. Go for it and good luck!

sure. i'm white and that i dated a black guy many years in the past. Why? because i really really loved him. He became desirable, humorous, sensible and he loved me. the coloration of his pores and skin did not come into it. And it shouldn't. i'm not american so possibly i'm lacking something, yet i hit upon it completely ridiculous to circumvent relationship someone that can make you satisfied basically because of pores and skin or religon or something else. I actually have american friends black and white and that i hit upon a number of their attitudes in the route of this style of problem shameful. those black females who ***** about white females stealing "their" adult men ought to experience embarrassment about themselves. the international received't get any more desirable if racism isn't wiped out completely, not basically reversed. and those white those who evaluate it incorrect for a white to be with a black want a superb slap. improve up human beings, there are little ones starving obtainable, bombs dropping on innocents, households on the streets, and also you're making a large deal about not something!! Love is love. in this chilly harsh international human beings should not be in contact with trivials like race. that's ridiculous.

Theres nothin wrong datin outside ur race. I dated a white guy and he was a sweetheart. I still love him till this day. DO what u wanna do. Theres so many different people out there that are just dying to treat a woman out, no matter what their race is. And oh yeah its the year 2000, people are a little more accepting of it. Go for it and forget what everybody thinks or says, its ur life.

Depends what you see in him and if you have enough in common. I think he will be pleasantly surprised as we all are when we find out we have an admirer he may or may not be the person for you but dont let that fact he is white hold you back. I think if he rejects you because your hispanic then thats just life and you can move on to the next guy.

I am white, and I dated a hispanic girl for two years. Honestly, you are not a different race from him. Hispanics and Anglos are both of European descent for the most part. There are cultural differences, but that is what made dating my ex a lot of fun. We broke up later, but it hadn't nothing to do with our ethnic differences. Unless he is a bigot, I don't think you have to worry about him rejecting you because you are hispanic.

Why worry about that? Race isn't very important compared to personality! Just think, you may never find somebody in your own race that you like as much, and then you'll wish you had dated him.

I'd follow your heart, not your race, and go for it :)
