Molestation is when someone young or old, male or female, relative or friend touches you in an inappropriate way violating your body.
Rape is when someone forces you to have intercourse without your consent.
They are both considered sex crimes and should be reported right away if you or anyone you know has been raped or molested by contacting your local law enforcement agency, so that they may be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

molestation is when an adult or teenager touches a child in inappropriate places. i know a girl who was molested by her father from the ages of 5 to 12 yrs he tried to have sex with her many times but his penis would not fit in. very very disgusting man.

no molestation can be physical which can mean beating but sexual molestation means advancing sexually but still it does not count as rape ,when some one has forceful intercourse its rape.
