My b/f has this feeling that I deserve someone far better than him. He feels that way mostly because sometimes in our arguements I got upset and he felt he hurt me. He also let me down a few times. I was upset but forgave him later. Now he thinks he has upset me and let me down too much and really feels bad about it. How do I make him stop thinking I need and deserve somone better than him?

haha why do you want him to change? it's to your advantage. Guys like that treat his gf a lot better.

From what I understand. He obviously have a little self-esteem problem. If you really want him to change, tell him things to make him feel proud of himself.

This is very easy to do: giving him a lot of compliments. But real ones too. Everytime you guys go out, tell him that he is a lot better than those "Barneys" in the resteraurant or wherever you guys go on a date and do be specific too.

Summary : TELL HIM HE IS A LOT BETTER THAN A LOT OF GUYS AROUND YOU AND ELABORATE ON IT

damn this story is just like me and my girl couple of months ago she would tell me that she loved me forever that im her life and im that perfect guy for her and i would question why and say things that upset her. and sometimes she would do things or say things to make me mad. keep spending time together there is a main reason you fell in love stick with it or do like we did make a list of every thing that you like about each other good and bad and try together to work out the bad it might hurt a little but it will make the relationship sooo much stronger. good luck
