I mistakenly told my girlfriend I would fix her brakes yesterday not knowing there was a terrible snowstorm coming. Since I have no garage and she's shown quite in interest in learing about her vehicle should I offer to tell her how to fix her own brakes while I'm in the house talking to her over the cell phone?
What believable excuse should I use until spring comes?
There's no way I'm going to pay for her vehicle to be fixed properly by a professional so don't even suggest that.

Last week I mailed him a letter re: us getting back together and he told me he was in a relationship which i semi believe but that is not the problem the problem is that my mom spoke with his dad 2 days ago b/c they are friends thats how we met and his grandmother was given 24-48 hrs to live and they will be leaving to go there in the next couple days. Now I feel like I should call him and say something re:this but I am so hurt and I dont know if I can handle it yet I thought about mailing a card but his grandma may not be dead yet and she might even live b/c they have been told this b4. I really care about him and part of me believes that he may not have a GF, which is a long story I think he told me that to see my rxn either way Im hurt Ive cried just about every day this week and if I call I dont know what to say, What should I do? and say to him or should say anything at all. Just b/c he an asshole I dont have to be and dont want to be. What should I do?

A male friend of mine who's in his early 30's and very shy has recently revealed he's been crushing on a girl who works in a music store for 2 years, and he can't seem to stop. It's not just any crush. He truly believes he loves her, that he knows that she is the perfect girl for him. He drives into the city every weekend just to see her, but he's never actually really spoken to her. He doesn't even know if she's single, all he knows is her first name. He's told me that his week doesn't feel complete if he doesn't catch a glimpse of her, and he misses her too much if he doesn't. He says he can't stop thinking about her, that she is the embodiment of physical perfection, and that he feels he knows that she is a beautiful person inside too just from watching her.

Recently, he severely crossed the line, completely ruining whatever chance he might have had with her by coming on too strong. He wrote her a letter and handed it to her, saying that he LOVES her and basically spilling his heart out to this girl he doesn't even really know. I mean, she's just a store employee who works weekends, just trying to do her job, and a customer comes in and hands her a full blown love letter. Worst of all, he enclosed $400 IN THE LETTER as a gift to her. He says that money means very little to him, and it made him happy just for her to have it.

Not surprisingly, he never got a response, so he finally spoke to her face to face the next week, and she told him politely, "How do you know you love me? You don't even know me" and even offered him some of the money back, but he refused to take it. He actually took her response as a positive sign, because at least she wasn't nasty about it. It convinced him even further that she was a wonderful person.

Well, it's been 4 weeks now since the letter and money incident, and he STILL goes in, even after getting no sign of returned interest. It must be getting awkward for her, and I wouldn't be surprised if she is starting to feel weirded out by the fact he's always coming in and looking at her.

He can't seem to get over his obsession. He is a truly wonderful guy with a heart of gold, but very lonely, and this is the first time in his life he's ever had true feelings for a girl. But this crush is a total waste of his time, and it's becoming unhealthy how much focus he is putting on someone he knows literally nothing about. He can't even imagine trying to meet someone else.

I've tried to explain that it's so much better to have a real girlfriend who actually loves you back, but he says he can't imagine ever not loving her, and that he really is in love and no one can tell him otherwise. He actually wishes it wasn't the case, but he feels he has no control over his feelings. I'm very worried for him.

it was a blind date. Literally. The dude was blind as a bat. Stevie Wonder. Ray Charles. **** like that. I even held up my middle finger in front of him when he made a rude comment about how I smell like dead fish, and he didn't even know I was doing that.

He got mad at me when I asked him to sing like Stevie Wonder but told him not to sway his head back and forth like he was a retard missing his helmet. He took his damn cane and tried to hit me but he knocked my boonesfarm out of my hand. I was mad.

Im supposed to marry MS dis coming November but somehow,im feeling all jittery about it.. I f'in hate it when bars crank up the music so loudly that you cant have a decent conversation, especially with the opposite sex. Im sure im going deaf :/ Most would agree that tone of voice can be useful when flirting, as well as to gauge someones interest. But not when your both having to shout, and repeat stuff. Sure, most ppl like loud music to dance too but what about those who wanna chat and flirt without having to cocentrate on hearing each other?? How do ppl feel about this? This seems to be a problem with most bars ive been too in the UK!!

So I want to give her a birthday card which I have made by myself (you know, the Pagemaker software..) but I do not know how to give it because I have told her my feelings before and she said she just want to be friends.. Boyfriend says he's bored with life...

boyfriend of 9 months says he is bored not with me but with his life in general, when i ask him about he says he does not feel like talking about it. I as him if he is bored with me and he said no.

One morning, when she (the girl i like, but i still didn't admit it to her) came to school, everybody noticed that her eyes was swollen...She cried last night (it's obvious even if she didn't tell me!) I have been married for 16 years and have three children. My marriage is horrible and has been for quite some time. We have agreed on divorce but he keeps changing his mind.
