As far as laws go, I'm sure if the asker states their country it should be easier to get some one from the same country to answer. But cultural differences shouldn't really matter. You ask the questions to get different opinions, so you would get more diverse opinions from people from other countries.

Yes. Many answerers do seem to assume we are in the US for some reason, and quite a few answers seem to begin with "It depends what state you're in . . ." or similar.
If the question doesn't specify UK law, I usually say in my answer that I'm talking about the law of England and Wales, and that way the asker can ignore my reply if he or she wishes. Even so, I think we should all be very careful not to take any answer on here for gospel, as I've seen so many answers, given with supreme confidence, which are completely wrong.

i think thats a really good idea cause we could answer an american question using british laws or vise versa which means the advice given will be wrong! but then again sometimes its good to get a global view on relationships! although it is annoying to have it assumed that im american all the time!

I think it would be very useful and very helpful, because when some people ask questions they are talking about things, and for someone in the US, it doesn't apply here if they are in another country.

I believe they are Multi-cultural but sometimes they do not understand a particular meaning to certain questions, hence violations are given out like Confetti!
