Does the prospective bride or groom buy the man's ring?

I have had a few partners and some long term ones but I always just end up being used and then hurt. I just long to meet someone I can spend the rest of my life with and be happy with without being taken for a mug and used. Surely there must be someone nice out there who wouldn't abuse me???

There is a man out here on Yahoo Answers that is leaving his pregnant wife, and they have 3 kids already. He confesses to womanizing for 13 out of the 15 years of marriage, and has decided to leave her because she relied on family to help get her through all the B.S. he put her through, but now her family hates him because of it. I don't want to judge this man's situation, but it does prompt me to ask fellow Yahoo'ers out there that if you've left your spouse (kids involved), looking back, has it truly been worth it? What has been your experience and challenges in doing so?

We have not had sex in over 3 months

Why is it so hard for some men to commit? I love my boyfriend very much and i'm still dealing with issues from my ex and he been helpful with me moving on. But when I talk about the future he gets quiet. I'm only 20 and he's 23 and I have no intent on getting married soon. But i'd like to maybe get an apartment with him. He still lives at home and it bothers me we never get any alone time. I'm still in college so I live on campus. Am I being petty by always asking why we can't do certain things now (like travel, move in together etc) or is it ok since it is my life?

I want to make this work so I keep my mouth shut but then I always end talking about it and I don't want to nag because no one like a ******.

My older sister can be VERY embarrassing because of this, in public (movie theatres, especially!) and even with a small group of friends. Otherwise, she's a good person but I know she puts people off with this. What can I do to let her know without hurting her feelings or making her too self-conscious to enjoy herself?

In her home she only has pictures of her blood relatives. When pictures are being taken she excludes everyone but her children and her grandchildren. What do you think. This has been going on for as long as her first child was married about 35 years ago. Her house is filled with pictures of blood relatives but none of her inlaws what do you think? I know what I think.

I met this guy, and we rele hit it off. Him and I talked all the time, and he said he rele liked me, and i rele liked him 2. After a few months of talking i hung out with him one night. After that night he just pretty much stopped talking to me! I felt so hurt that he had used me, and that he obviously didnt have any respect for me at all. Every time i tried to talk to him he would just ignore me. After awhile i gave up, and stopped trying 2 talk 2 him. My friends told me that he was a jack*** and i deserved better anyway. A month or so passed, and i still rele liked him. I was telling myself that he hurt me and was a player, and i knew he was bad for me. But no matter how many times i reminded myself how hurt and confused he made me, i still couldnt get over him. Then right when i thought i was over him he texted me 1day. I knew i should have treated him with the same respect he treated me, which was none. But i thought i would b nice and talk 2 him. Why do i keep doing this 2 myself?

this guy I work with used to flirt all the time with me and im shy and now he doesnt talk to me nearly as much. ok so im 19 and this problem has been happening since i was 12. i really like a boy and i get to know him and like him even more but once we start dating i completely lose interesnt a week into the relationship!

i have a friend...well, she isn't really a friend, but this girl i used tobe best friends with. We got into some drama sophmore year (last year) and now it seems to be tearing us apart. she talked about me behind my back to two of my friends and everyone seems to have moved on but me. idunno what to do. i want to be friends with her but something about her makes me really uneasy. Hey please , im really really depressed , and the weird thing is im only 14 . Im depressed about the way i look . The drama at school . and my mom and mines relationship at home , sometimes i stay in bed for weeks and dont do anything ( on school breaks ) And when i have to go to school i dont want to cause im so concerned of what i look like .
