The baby!! But that doesn't mean I care less about my wife. (lol) You can't put one before the other. Anyway I was able to bring the baby to HER, since she was being pampered by the nurses still. But before I could do that, I still had to wait for the baby to be cleaned up too. But I was there during the entire delivery cheering her on, and cut the "umbilical cord" Every father should do that. I've done it twice now! One big happy family. I hope you're not questioning someones love for you with this question. Happy Holidays to you and yours too!!

Well, I wanted to see my wife first. I wasn't there for the birth. Arrived in the middle of the night. Wanted to see my wife because she's a very petite woman and I'd been told that my son was almost 8 lbs....quite a big boy for my little wife. Both were sleeping...my wife in the bed, baby boy in a cradlelike thing next to her. So, I got to see both at the same time. My wife was a little pale. Sonny boy looked great, considering.

I saw both. I was present in delivery with my ex-wife and my current wife in all the deliveries. I was concerned for the well-being and safe delivery for each of them and all of them. It was a life-time event that I would not miss or forget. Happy holidays to you also!

Im not a dad but i think its great when the dads are so happy about the birth of the baby.I would think they would want to see the baby, its a blessing and a shock for men to see such a child to be born, somthing they helped make.Just like you would want to see your child,so does the dad.Congrates on the baby

I was in the room when my boy was delivered and cried when he came out. He was so perfect. I went with the nurses while they cleaned him and gave him shots and then I took the baby to the mother shortly there after. It was great!

the baby 1st. you want to make sure all the fingers and toes are there. and that the baby is alright. then you check on the mom. believe me though, it all happens really really fast....between the baby and the mom there might be 10 to 15 seconds that you are looking at one then the other.

Wifey has to be given a big ATTAGIRL so she knows she hasn't been replaced already by the baby.
