i have a guy friend who used to like me a lot but then we kinda had a fight, he had liked me for a long time but i didnt , but then i started to really like him we both wanted a relationship but my rents ar strict and things wouldnt work, after that we both stopped talking to eachother, and we didnt talk at all for a long time. well we started talking again recently and he invited me over to watch a movie, i am kinda confused i dont think he likes me again but can any guys tell me what they think, i am so confused...... he told me that we needed to spend more time together, and when he liked me before he really really liked me, so much so that i wonder if maybe he still does but doesnt want to? i dont know if this is enough info but any help would be great . i dont want things to get weird again, or to make him feel weird.

Since we were little children, my older sister has always been resentful of me. Obviously jealous because I had better grades in school, etc. We are now in our 40s, and she is still demonstrating the same nasty behavior of bitterness, one-upmanship and will-never-be-outdone. I have a well-paying job which she resents. My husband and I travel abroad every year which she resents. I have expensive clothing which she resents. It appears she never outgrew her envy towards me. It's old, and her behavior has gotten in the way of our relationship. It totally drains me of energy. I have decided to completely write her off from my life. Wooh! I feel better already! Any thoughts?

My husband's ex spouse sold their home and has not paid him his share, according to their divorce decree. Now she's threatening to take him back to court to receive more child support if he pursues getting the money she owes him from the sale of the home.

I have a 7yr old little boy who got an aquired brain injury in a car accident when he was three. He now has a numerous amount of problems although when others look at him they can't tell he has a brain injury. I have now been with a man for about a year and he now knows about my sons injury. My mother has been receiving books on brain injuries and how to help a child who has got one and she has been giving them to us to read and learn from. I am definately going to read them but my new partner says he has amway books to read. What should I do to get him to read the books which I think are more important than amway books?

My sister-in- law always has something negative to say to me every time the family gets together. I am an outsider, so to speak, her husband and my husband are brothers. For example, last time we were together she made a remark about my "FMP" shoes ( that's F--- Me pumps). This X-mas as my husband & I were going to his sisters house we brought a beer along to drink (we live about 50 min. away) & of course, I spilled half on me. When I came in I asked "my sis" could I have use of a hair dryer to dry my jeans. After a few words were exchanged about why I needed a dryer she(bad one)retorts (when no one was even talking to her) "What, do you need to be drunk to come to a family function?" I HAVE HAD ENOUGH!!!. If this was my family I would know exactly what to do, but these are very calm, nice people and everyone says, "Well, that's just Betty". She doesn't say anything to anyone else but me. This is a large family and I really don't know the best way to handle this. HELP!!

I work with a guy at a department store,and i see him about 2-3 times a week, and i am wondering how to go about asking him out, or turning our conversation into a date...
Do i not do it because if he says no i have to see him all the time, or do i go ahead and do and pray to go he dosn't say no and humiliate myself?

I think he really likes me but i feel like we just don't connect at all. Now im totally into this guy on my ski team so much more than ive ever been into my bf. Also im going to formal with a different guy that my bf doesn't know about yet but hes not the guy you get jealous of or anything. I dated this guy for some time. Although it was a long distance relationshop, we stayed in touch almost everday. I know he really liked me a lot. Our relationship was at a point were I was ready for an engagement, but he was not. He said that he still wanted some time to think about us. Although he was 99.9% sure about me, he was not there 100%. I was tired of waiting, so I told him that if cannot commit 100%, then I dont want to see him anymore. He was not ready for that, so I said at the moment that if two months down the road, both of us still have feelings for each other, then we will rethink. He never contacted me after that, but over the weekend, he finally got in touch (it was exactly two months and 1 week since we last talked). He said that he has dreams about me. Does that mean that he has been thinking about me or missing me this whole time? How can I approach him and ask him where he stands right now. I dont want to see him if he is not ready for engagement.

I love my girlfriend but I hate the fact that she is a club hopper. She and I want to marry each other but I'm afraid her clubbing is going to result into a conflict in our relationship. My friend goes on a trip to South Dakota every year to see her relatives for New Years. This year she asked me to go with. The thing is, we're leaving Thursday morning and would be staying at her dad's apartment until Sunday. The only problem is I have asthma, and her dad chain smokes. Every time I go there I wheeze and my chest hurts a lot, and I'm on medication for my asthma right now too...I want to go to South Dakota with her, but I don't know if I want to stay at her dad's house that long. I mean, it's Winter break from school and I like to spend some time with my family. How can I tell her that? I still really want to go to SD, but I don't know how else I could go without going to her dad's, and I'm afraid I'd hurt her feelings.
