Call her bluff....she has probably spent the money and that is her only recourse. Insist she pay the money back....tell her unless she pays it back within a reasonable amount of time that your husband will take her to court, so together with what she owes, she will also be up for lawyers fees as well. Depending on what his share is worth, maybe him paying more child support will be worth it. Maybe the interest alone on the amount she owes him would pay the extra child support. Add it up....is it worth forcing her to pay him his share. I still wouldnt allow her to blackmail him this way regardless. Blackmail is against the Law...maybe she needs to be reminded of this fact.

She's the one who isn't paying him his share of the house money. She is the one who needs to worry. She can take him back to court for more CS money but that doesn't mean she'll get it. CS amounts are decided upon your husband's income, number of children he is caring for. Just because she asks for more money doesn't mean she'll get it. Have your husband get copies of all the papers concerning the sale of the house and get them to a lawyer ASAP. He deserves his fair share of the money. Tell your husband not to let the ex push him around. If she can get her way with something this important she will just keep doing it.

Your husband needs to sue her for the share of the house sale's profits. And he should have his lawyers rip her a new one for trying this extortion tactic regarding the child support. She's trying blackmail and extortion on him with these threats. I'm no lawyer but it's kind of obvious he needs to drag his psycho ex back to court.

Well if she is threatening to take him back to court, write down everything that has been said and going on and the situation on paper and keep dates, so when or if the court date comes, then you have the documents to show what is really going on.

If that's on your credit record? Nope...that's an automatic personal loan denial. I have under no circumstances seen an exception. besides the indisputable fact that that's on condition that that's on his credit record. If he has court docket-ordered toddler help, he will be required to coach that on the non-public loan software and furnish a replica of the settlement to the business company.
