Has been messing with this woman for as long as I can remember. Since my family has met her, we have all noticed that she uses my grandpa for his money. My grandpa retired years ago, and when he retired, she left him. She pops up around the time his SSI checks come in and he gives all of his income to her (he also rents out his home and lives with me). I don't like to see this happen to him. My family says that if we tell her anything that my grandpa gets mad (my auntie actually beat her up and grandpa didn't talk to the family for about 10 years) but I don't care. I am watching all of this wear down my grandpa, and his 14 year old son is also being a gold digger. I don't know what to do, but I need to stop all of this before my grandpa passes away. But on the other hand, older people don't like to be alone, so I think he confuses his feelings up and that's why he deals with her. Any ideas are welcome, and I am kinda alone on this because my family won't interfere.

Can someone please tell me what makes a man think they can break a woman of all her dignity and make her feel backed into a corner by yelling and abusing her? What do they think they will accomplish? They want the woman to love them, but they do everything they can to make themselves look like a complete jerk and belittle the woman to break her down. And they want the woman to love them??? What makes men think this way? And I know this does not pertain to all men...but there are so many like this and so many women who have to deal with it.

I broke up with my boyfriend of 3 years. I started going out to the clubs with my friends (which I have never got to do before) so I am on the dating/club scene. It seems like to me that all of these men out there ask to take you home at the end of the night and when I tell them I do not do one nighters and never will they seem to be impressed because they say it is not often that a woman has respect for herself. (thats bad) Well most of these guys seem to want to have relationships later with me so whats that about?

Does anyone know the answer to this? Can ex and I agree to the amount of support? He is having extreme financial difficulty and lost his high paying job. Ok here is the deal. I have known a guy for a very long time. His sister became my best friend and is now my roomate. He and I have been great friends for years and I'm even considered "adopted" by his parents. We have both always been in other relationships, but we are both now single and it has come up that we have had feelings for each other for years. I never realized how much until I became single recently and apparently, he's been waiting around for 6 years to tell me all this. Here is the problem though. He is in prison. The details I won't bore you with, but he made a mistake and I stuck by him through the entire ordeal. He really is the man I want to be with. But he wants me to marry him while he's still in prison. He only has one more year to go but I'm just not sure. What do you think?
