Yes my 1st husband, Bless his Soul. At the age of 10 he and a friend where playing swords with sticks and trash can covers has Shields. His friend threw the stick and my husband didn't put his "shield" up and the stick went into his eye. After all was healed they made a glass eye for him and it matched his green eyes perfect. It was hard to tell he had one until he had a few too many.

yes i have a cousin with one, and i use to work with a guy who had one? but is that your only question or are you wanting to know how I would deal with it? Cause it can be hard to have a conversation with them, always not wanting to look them in the eyes and not want them to think that you are staring at them? IF that is your question then talk to them normaly like you do everyone else and realize that he probably doesnt know you are nervous until you show that you are....if he is open and jokes about it then laugh with him dont hide away from it cause it make you uncomfortable that will only make it worse....

alot of people with problems as such will grow to there surroundings you dont have to step on pins and needles... they know their problems and they also know that others see it.... so remember when your talking to him that he is comfortable and that you should not be uncomfortable, he had either a life time or long enough time to get use to the fact that he is different ...look at him like any other human.. or what i use to do when he would talk to me i would pay attention to him for a short amount of time then, turn and start working on something i was working on and coontunie to convo, every now and then looking up to ex-knowledge our convo or make eye contact and laugh.. i did that untill i was confortable and i eventual got use to it!!!!

I used to work in a nursing home ,and there was a lady with a glass eye there.one eye would be staring straight at you and the other would be looking elsewhere.,god bless her.She was also a clairvoyant which somehow made it seem spookier. She used to say she could 'see' dead people in the room, just to freak me out I expect!!
