I am scared when a guy approaches me and find excuses not to like them in my head and I can get hurtful towrds them so that they dont come closer. I feel as if I dont deserve to be loved/afraid of being hurt/feel that if i fall for them ultimately i will be hurt by them.
Am I the only one like this?

You are not the only one like this...Alot of ppl go through it.Who wants to get hurt? No one...That is what life is all about,The good and Bad,Ups and Downs.
If you do not allow guys to get close to you,how are they to know who and how you are?Howll you get to know someone.How will you find out what love is or even how it is to be loved.
Sure you might not find Mr.Right,right off the bat,but just because you allow a guy to get close does not mean it has to go into "home" from the start.allow them in and take it slow find out the commons and the enjoyments then proceed with how things go and feel, it can stay at one stage if must be(friends)
Sure you will find yourself with a broken heart but you will break heart also.
If you do not go out on the limb and discover,you might be pushing the right one away.Then what...You will be older and mature and be wondering if he passed you by,you might be missing out at true love.There is someone for everyone it is just to find him/her.When you do you will know but until then live life's lessons and have fun with it,it is how we grow.

I have a friend like this. Boys aren't as bad as they seem. They may seem like they have the personality of about a squirrel, but once you get to know them, you will see that they aren't that bad. Just make sure you don't talk to the wrong ones first. From now on, always give people a chance, and see what they are like. I don't know how old you are, but boys are pretty much just the same as girls just not as smart! So pitty them, lol be nice and caring like you would to your best friend. You will be loved, so don't worry. Just don't push them away, treat them like you want them there. Look into their eyes like you wanna hear every word they say. Don't worry though. And if you've recently hurt anyones feelings, a good apology will do. Good Luck! Hope the advise helps! :)

No there r loads of people that behave that way, however what have do done thats so bad that u need to keep punishing urself.
Every time u hurt urself ur confirming the fear deeper.
Find out when u decided this and change it, with help if need be.

I broke up with my ex of 2years last years. we split for good reasons but i still cared for him. i started seeing other guys but everytime i would back off when things started going somewhere cos i was worried about getting hurt again.
i pushed away a really good guy who is now happily loved up, i'm really happy for him but sometimes i wish i had'nt pushed him away cos i've lucked out
sometimes, you just have to go for it, relax, have fun, everyone deserves to have someone love them. it is scary being honest and open with your emotions with someone potentially important to you, but sometimes you just have to give it a shot! good luck xx

I'm going to seriously suggest that you seek some counseling for your self esteem problems. These issues do not go away on their own and if left untreated you could end up unconsciously choosing an abusive man who will treat you badly. Please seek help.

No, but you should at least give them a chance. get to know them better first see if their trustworthy and if he is then let it happen. You never know if he'll be the one.
