I need a Christmas gift for relatives I don't see that much. I always send them something. I want to spend around $30.00. The only things I can think of are photo related items but i've given photo related gifts for the past few years. They also have kids so nothing steamy or innapropriate.

Seems like my wife has been less than toughtful on our anniversary, again! Not even a card. Is this normal in a marriage?
Or does she not care? I have never forgotten, she always gets flowers, plus a gift and dinner.

We've been dating for over 2 years now. He's my best friend and I think I love him. However, I always feel like I have stronger feelings for him than he does for me. He doesn't seem to want to stay together when we go off to college next fall. I'm just not sure if it's worth it to stay together...there's another guy I have a crush on and he pays more attention to me and seems like he actually cares...as opposed to my current boyfriend who plays computer games while he's talking to me on the phone.

I don't really want to break things off with my boyfriend, but wouldn't I be better off?

I don't even know how a boyfriend is supposed to treat his girlfriend because this is my first relationship.

Okay i have no clue whats been up with me latley its like one min im happy the next im sad and then all of a sudden for no reason im mad and im really mean to everyone around me ... I know its not my period cause its not due till later in the month but i dont get why i have been feeling like this it started like a week ago and i go thru this everyday ... Whenever I'm with my boyfriend, he always holds me and puts his face right next to mine. Is this a time I should kiss him? Its kinda hard since his face is next to mine and I don't wanna just move away cause he might do the same. And he's taller than me so I can't really lean in and kiss him unless he is close to me. She always treated my sisters better than me, even when they were doing drugs, running off with boyfriends and getting pregnant. In high school I was sick for 2 months and she was happy i wasnt in school and got pissed when I went back. When I decided to go to college all she did was discourage me. When I found I had high blood pressure I changed my diet and next day she went and got me soda and junk food.

For my birthday I got 35 dollars and my sisters got 100 dollars, vacations and gift cards. She constantly threatens to kick me out of the house and whenever I quit a job she bugs me everyday to go get another one.
Keep in mind I never did drugs or smoked or drank, I never got in trouble and always came home before 8pm. She occasionaly brings up how I burned the first floor of our house by accident when I was 5 when I was playing with matches and even called me an arsonist once. I am really starting to think she hates me

talk with his ex girlfriend and we helped eachother get over it, she said she wanted to meet in real life and stuff and she kinda seems interested but then she also said she thinks she likes her best guy friend and is talking with him kind of a lot. My wife's mother is very clingy to her daughter and it's starting to interfere with our marriage. She calls my wife several times a day, wanting my wife's work schedule so she can phone and talk for 15 minutes before my wife leaves for work and then she calls the minute my wife is in the door (and a long conversation ensues) EVERY DAY. Isn't that time supposed to be for me and my wife? I have no problems with my mother-in-law phoning to talk to her daughter, but does she have to jump on us right away like that? Also, when my wife and I are watching movies her mom will phone yet again that evening and talk to my wife for up to an hour while I wait with the movie paused. I tell my wife how I feel but she just ignores the problem and hopes it'll go away. I stopped trying because I don't want to cause stress for my wife. I thought about asking my mother-in-law to be more considerate, but I know that would upset my wife as her mom's feelings are easily hurt. What can I do?

My boyfriend and I have been together for almost 2 months. Either of us have not had a relationship like this before (we hang out almost everyday with him asking almost everytime). I'm 22 and he's 21. I guess I got too comfortable with him and asked for a ring for sometime in the future. I didn't mean an engagement ring but just a promise ring (not meaning that we would be together forever jus that we are together right now) because i have other friends who have gotten rings in this amount of time but I know that everyone is different. At first he was okay with the idea but I guess I talked about it a little too much and after he did research he realized what geting me a ring meant. I didn't mean to scare him into thinking we were going to get married but he got scared and almost broke up with me.

I dropped asking him for a ring right away when I found out he had a problem with it but I think he still is scared about it.

How do I make this right?

I did the most rediculous things the last month we were together. I got Possesive, Controlling and most of all insecure. I have been a man on hormone replacement thereapy for over 10 years but things just seemed to get to me and I kind of flipped out there for a little while. Just wondering why ladies go on and on about single guys looking "cute" as they walk their dogs in the park, on the beach, etc. What's the appeal of a guy with a dog?

If your reasoning is "he has something to take care of so he is more responsible", let me ask you this: Would he be just as responsible and sexy or cute with a parakeet (skip the pirate fantasies!) or a cat?

Perhaps this should be an entirely different question (LOL), but how does the single guy taking care of a dog/pet compare to a single dad taking care of his own child with no mother involved? Which one is cuter/sexier/responsible?
