my bf and i dated (and were engaged) over a 5 yr period. he broke up w/me in june b/c i was emotionally distant, selfish at times, etc. plus he found a journal where i had written about another guy (my boss). we were also long distance. after he broke up, i moved to where he lived, got an apartment, etc, said i would work on being a better partner. i gave him space. did not call him or his family (i am very close to them). in august he finally started calling; sept/oct we went out a few times; now in nov we are talking every day and he asked me to spend thanksgiving with his family (although he did ask me the day before); he helped me buy a new car, etc. BUT, in the six months (3 of which we have been hanging out) there has been NO intimacy. he will not hold my hand, kiss, nothing. he says he wants to take this slow and that as soon as we are physical it will mean we are back together 100%. i'm wondering if why this is taking so long? should i hang in there? 4 how long?

I'm 22 and there's this really lovely girl who's 19 and has a 2 year old son. She's brilliant and just wondered what people think about dating single parents. I'm reasonably mature for a 22 year old and I love kids but I'm not sure if I'm ready to date someone with children. Apart from that she's great, wonderful personality and very beautiful. And I know having kids is not a disease!

My friend told me its supposed to be certain nerves on the soles of our feet connect to certain organs in our body, and if rubbed its supposed to be healthy. Seems to me like a way for people who have a foot fetish to get their fingers on some poor dude's bare feet and drive him into seizures. One of my girlfriends is into it, and I can't take somebody touching my feet, so she got two of my friends to hold me in a chair while she did it. I think it lasted about 15 minutes, but to me it was two hours. I was laughing so hard the guys finally saw the stain on the front of my pants and let me up. Whats up with it? The organ connected to my feet is my brain, and it makes me laugh until I throw up or wet myself.

I'm 16 and a sophomore in high school. I've sort of had a crush on a guy who's two and a half years younger than me and in eighth grade for about half a year now. I've caught him looking at me two or three times and once when we were smiling, we made eye contact. I haven't talked to him much although I've seen him around for over two years, just said hi and stuff once in a while. I'm dating a black guy and I really like him. I'm only 13 so I don't know what true love is. But, William (my b/f) is such a good boyfriend, the real gentlemen like. This is our second time going out together. The first time I had to break-up w/ him b/c my mother did not approve. Now we are dating behind her back and it makes me very uncomfortable about it. I want to tell her but I don't want to break up w/ William again, I simply couldn't bare it. I'd love to go out and get her something great but I'm very short on funds at the moment. Do any of you have cheaper or free alternative gifts? You know, something like a special mix cd or things like that? I want something that would be very personal, something handmade maybe.

If you were adopted by someone and recently found out you had a half-sister, would you try to contact her? I have known I was given up by my birth father (but I don't remember him) , but recently found about my half-sister. My mother is my birth mother and my adopted Dad will ALWAYS be my Dad. I have mixed emotions...I'm curious to learn of my birth father and half-sister, but yet I'm also afraid. My birth father has not been in my life since I was 4 months old(more than 40 years ago) Maybe I should leave well enough alone, but then again maybe my half-sister would like to know she has a sister. I have no other siblings.
