Your uncle is wrong. Not all guys are interested in just sex. That's generalizing and it's not right. But, do beware of the ones that do just want sex because there are some out there.

Hmm... Well first off I'm female. Here's just my opinion on the topic.
Many guys do want sex. But I'm sure many girls do as well. It's just a stereotype and stereotypes can be applied to all kinds of things.
Sexual desire is a powerful thing. Of course after a while someone will want to engage in such acts with another person.
Some men may just get into a relationship for this reason [as would some girls].
There are guys out there who are actually very kind and won't try to impose this idea on you, but it's up to you to find them.

Sorry to say this but this is a heated discussion. It depends on the person. A great amount of guys all they want is sex. Then there are the few guys out there that dont want just sex they want something meaningful. For instance when I was a teenager that wasnt the only thing I wanted, I wanted a girl that could just be there when I wanted her to be there and a women to lean on. As for the rest of the guys which there is a lot of them, they just want sex.

OF COURSE US GUYS DON'T JUST WANT SEX. Of course some perverts out there are losers and will think otherwise. It just depends on the type of guy. I personally would rather own a monkey that would have a war with me every time i got home from an annoying day at work, than have sex. I think being friends with a girl, or even dating her and talking to her, clearly, not about lame topics like "school sucks or Billy is a fag" is the greatest thing ever.

Unfortunately, your uncle knows what he is talking about, but don't worry if you're a good girl. Then just be careful. Avoid situations where you are alone with a boy and things might go too far. Remember your family loves you and just wants the best for you.

He is right in some cases...I do believe there are more good guys out there, but women need to give them a chance...its seems like our culture likes for us to go after those "bad boys" or "playa" type of men because they are the most attractive...but listen to him and be careful because he is not truly over exaggerating on this subject...I'm glad my grandma taught me how to think because without her advice and help I would probably be just as wild and knocked up like some of my friends and thank god I'm not, I'm getting an education and having fun!!!

Your uncle is probably one of those guys who were always after the sex, so what do you expect?
I don't happen to believe all guys are after sex, but if you happen to be an extremely attractive girl, they are more apt to be the quiet, brainy, not so noticeable boys. In other words, not among the boys you might date. The jocks, class clowns, gangstas, everyone else...? Usually after sex.

There are some good guys out there. My bf and I have decided 2 wait till we're married 2 have sex. I believe in sex after marriage, and we're only 18. He never does anything without askin me. Our first hug, kiss. He asked and never forced himself on me.

you are both right. Guys are programmed to want sex but they are also capable of nurturing a real relationship. Too many girls, though, in their desperation to have a guy just put out without even knowing the dude. Very stupid.
