I think my boyfriend might be hinting we should move in together. We've been together for five months and are even taking a trip together to Thailand in a couple months. I'm 24 and he's 28. He's been saying he wants to move into a house, has suggested I should move into a house, and has said many times how we practically live together (which we do, we spend every night either at his place or mine). This morning he said he should just buy a place and I could stay over and pay rent. I laughed it off because we've had serious discussions about where we want to be in the future, and neither of us is ready to buy property yet. Should I just bring up living together directly or wait for him to do so?

Also... a couple times when he's thought I was asleep, he's asked me to marry him. Is he just checking to see if I'm awake? I'm both slightly amused and a little confused. I love him to bits, but he also knows I think people should date at least a year before getting engaged.

He's just slapped me really hard around the face because I told him off for yelling at our teething baby- hes ok with our oldest son but doesn't give a **** about our baby. When we bought our house, I was pregnant with our eldest son and not working- he told me we had a meeting with the building society to arrange the mortgage... then on the day I was due to go in and sign, he told me he'd got the mortgage in his name only and that I didn't need to do anything as I was unemployed. We've been married for three years and things have been getting increasingly worse, he has always had a short fuse but used to take his tempers (usually when he was drunk) out on doors, walls etc... just before our youngest son was born, he started to take things out on me. It was small things to start with, he'd throw his phone at me for example, but they're getting worse as time goes on. I want to split up with him as I dont want to bring my kids up like this- anyone know what my rights are? Leanne XX

My girl does things to make me depressed all the time. I dont get any attention from her or and signs that she loves me like she says she does. I'm always doing things to show I care but I dont get anything in return. She stays mad for at least 3 days and wont talk to me when I do something she doesnt like. The last time was when I told her I thought she was cheating on me when I found her at the club grinding on a guy. She got so mad and wouldnt talk to me for a week. I dont know why I let her walk all over me. I would leave her if I wasnt such a wuss. When she is leaving for work in the morning and I try to hug her she will get mad and says she doesnt have time. She never wants to cuddle or make out anymore. I'm the first boyfriend she has had that isnt a mean gruff marine. I guess I need to treat her like sh*t like she does me. She used to be a sweetheart the first few months we were together. What would you do?

I have a situation where I had to leave my own house because the wife has allowed to the kids to do what they want, and it has caused problems in the relationship. One child is bi-polar. At the end he used to crank up his music, and when I asked the wife to ask him to keep it down, she would allow him to leave his music up. She never would confront him because she was afraid of him. And if I tried to ask him to turn it down, it just made me look like a bad guy in his and his mother’s eyes. I have been separated for 4 months and I don’t know what is going on in the household. Should I just ask for a divorce?

I'm currently going out with someone and i really like him.

But recently i just got reacquainted to one of my good friends who i have known since elementary. He is also my ex-boyfriend. I haven't seen him since the seventh grade and i am now a sophomore. He goes to my school now. Anyway-- Since we met i have been having dreams about him. Its usually the same dream; he's telling me that he still likes me and that he misses me. He kisses and and holds me close to him in the dream and i look so happy.

The weird thing is that i dont like him and I hardly even think about him. I like my boyfriend that im with right now so i dont know why im getting these dreams. Any thoughts??

I'm a med-student and I'm not ugly but I found out two days that my boyfriend of a year cheated on me with his stepsister.... He wants to get back together but the reason he gave me for cheating was that he could take the pressure from my family (who are a it racist-im italian and mexican and hes white german and dutch descent) I thought that this was a little bit unfair but forsome reason I feel guilty. I thought I loved him but know I don't know what to do. I've been working long hours at the hospital so I can get too tired to think about it at night when i go to bed... Am I just being dumb, should I take him back? There are plenty of guys who have expressed interest in the past two days but Im finding it hard to move on accckkkk!!! We have been dating for 3 yrs, own a house together, & are building a vacation house. 6 months ago he moved out, as all we do is fight. We have ups & downs due to disagreements regarding primarily him just not wanting to grow up. Our main issue is his mom though. She is rude to me everytime I see her, makes no effort to get to know me, & always makes verbal jabs at me. She is very manipulative & does it in a way that my bf does not notice. She will cancel plans w/him if she finds out I will be attending, & invites just him to holiday dinners at her friend's homes. He worships her and feels that I am too harsh, but she constantly hurts my feelings & makes it obvious she wants nothing to do w/me. He will jump through hoops for her, but when I ask him to do anything he throws a fit. He will never side w/me over her, as he loves her more & refuses to stand up to her. He would rather lose me than upset her. I also found out that he changed his life ins beneficiary to her when he moved out.
