Is it better for whom? If you mean better in a man's eyes, then I say don't pretend to be interested in something you're not. Let him know that you like what you like, and in the long run, he won't be fooled by what you pretended to be.

Good taste in music, duh. If you're going to sacrifice your personal style for a guy, you're not going to get very far. As it turns out, I like the same music that the guy I'm attracted to likes (classic rock), and we've sort of bonded over it.
