im 22... i think i really need a girlfriend cos im kinda tired of been alone. i want someone that really cares about me, who calls often to know how my day is going and stuff. all the girls i have met so far ... turn out to be causal friends. however i dont want to desperate about it. i met someone on myspace and we will be going out probably next weekend... what should i say or do on the date ? i have a camera (xmas gift) reserved for her if she turns out to be my first ever GIRLFRIEND.

Let me rephrase the question. Women do not get arrested for physical abuse if they slap men. Aren't men allowed the same? Is it okay for your boyfriend/husband to hit you if you TRULY deserved it? Don't husbands have some right over their wives?

Ok, I like two people. They just happen to be brothers. The one I actually hung out with and the other one I just talk to all the time in school. They both flirt with me and everyone tells me that both of them like me. C.J. got me the apron for hair dying that I have wanted from sally's for like ever. Bobby got me flowers on sweetest day. They are so different but both like me. C.J. is like the fun, outgoing part of me and Bobby is like the sweet, down to earth part of me. They both make me laugh the hardest i've ever laughed before. People ask me who I like better but to tell you the truth, I couldn't tell you . I don't know who I like better. I have cried over both of them already. So what do I do?

A month ago, for some time, my crush went out of his way to be nice to me, like saying hi to me and complimenting me. Then, he suddenly stopped. A female friend of his told me he pointed at my desk once and said "I like her." So, that's when he stopped the flirting, and then, he could have found out I like him that way. So now, he doesn't really talk to me anymore, and I'm kinda mean to him. I'd catch him staring at me in class (right at me), and he does that often. Several times, he'd turn around in his seat and sort of glance at me and turn around. I think I caught him waving at me once. Couple of weeks ago, he stared at me for like 5 minutes! I was really mortified, and one of his friends is extra nice to me; I've always been friends with his friend, but she's talking me more. I'm so confused! My crush is very shy, and my friends think I should ask him out. They're telling me to make a move. I need your advice. Do you think he likes me? He seems too nice to play me; you never know.

I'm male and i know the typical stereotype is that all men want sex even on the first date. However, it has been my experience that most women are the same. At least 50% of the women i've dated are shocked to find that i'm not interested in the sex at the end of the first date. I just prefer to know a person better before i'm intimate with them. Are there women out there who feel the same way? I've made it a rule to know someone 6 - 12 months before i sleep with them. I'm not getting much but i feel better about myself. Am i alone here?

I have this crush in my class computer science121 and he is so smart.

But he seems to be avoiding me. I am already friends with all his friends but not him. He already knows me but doesn't talk to me at all.

I am really close with his best friend because we used to be classmates. But whenever we talk, he goes away or doesn't join the conversation. I talked to him once, but that was it(about an activity at school).

so, i asked earlier about proposing to my lady & giving her two weeks to respond. now the most of the answers on her that i got say that i shouldnt have to wait even a full day, and that she should know right off the bat whether she wants to marry me or not. so the new question is. should i even wait until friday for the answer, or go to her, say what i am feeling and basically tell her that i want an answer asap...or just let it ride, hope and pray, and when friday comes...if she does - she does, and if she doesnt - well then i know. honestly, this is eating me up inside, and i think the majority of you guys are right. if she really does love me, then i should have had an answer by now. once again, im caught in a pickle and dont know what to do.
