im 22... i think i really need a girlfriend cos im kinda tired of been alone. i want someone that really cares about me, who calls often to know how my day is going and stuff. all the girls i have met so far ... turn out to be causal friends. however i dont want to desperate about it. i met someone on myspace and we will be going out probably next weekend... what should i say or do on the date ? i have a camera (xmas gift) reserved for her if she turns out to be my first ever GIRLFRIEND.

just be confident, be yourself ! Get to know her and her background! If things go great, give her the camera as your 1st gift ! However, also be careful ! Lots of girls like to date several guys at the same time ! If that is the case, end it right away cause u dont want to pick up broken pieces of ur heart later !

Whatever you do, take your time! Girls are turned OFF by a guy who tries too hard. It sounds cliche, but "you'll know if it's right", when the time comes. Be a gentleman, do the old-fashioned 'courting'. She'll be impressed (whoever she is!).

Just be yourself!! If you want a woman to stay around, you have to be you. Whatever front you put up won't last forever. If she loves the front, she might, MIGHT be disappointed with the real you, but will ABSOLUTELY be pissed that you lied. That's all a front is...a lie.
