Is he a friend or more?

I have a friend that is a boy and but i like him as more. And i really dont want to tell him up front that i like him it would make things weird. How do I hint and make him aske me out first?

Flirt, or you know what? Better yet...
find the courage to tell him, you might not know it, but he might also be too shy , and doesnt want to ask you.
