Let me rephrase the question. Women do not get arrested for physical abuse if they slap men. Aren't men allowed the same? Is it okay for your boyfriend/husband to hit you if you TRULY deserved it? Don't husbands have some right over their wives?

Legally: If it's hard enough to leave marks, they do get arrested, man or woman, if the deputy can even tell who the abuser is at that point. Why would any woman THINK she deserved to be hit? Some women may provoke a man to the limit but she doesn't deserve to be hit EVER! He has a right to protect himself (not use self-defense for an excuse to abuse) AND the right leave the situation. This is the leading cause of domestic homicide. It starts with a slap and always progresses to worse. (sin always does) ALWAYS! ALWAYS! ALWAYS! Biblically: Husbands are to love their wives as their own bodies. Ever see him slap himself?? If you trust Jesus as your personal Saviour, you will know better if it's right for you to stay and it might get better but I wouldn't count on it. Hope can kill you. It is a demonic spirit and you can't fight it in the natural. TRUST ME! They play the same mind-games, tell the same lies, deny, minimize and blame the victim no matter what their socio-economic background is the world over throughout history.

It is NEVER okay for a man (boyfriend/husband or friend) to hit/push or slap a woman. If that ever happens you need to run not walk to the nearest exit and don't look back. If it happens once, it will happen again and again and again. You will be come powerless to stop it because you will have lost your self respect and feel like he is in control.
A marriage is a partnership - the extent of the success of a marriage is based upon how well it fulfills the needs of BOTH people involved.

Kids resort to violence because they haven't developed the skills to handle some situations in any other way. If an adult feels the need to hit someone, especially someone they love, and they actually follow thru on it, that speeks of a real problem with their maturity level.
If a girl hits a guy, and he calls the cops, they will pick her up. Battery is illegal, and for a reason.
What would someone do that would deserve it? I've slapped a guy once, I will admit it, but I was in 8th grade and he had been harrasing me for hours. At this point in my life, I think I could reason things out like an adult. If I couldn't, well, there isn't much of a relationship.
If a guy ever hit me the relationship would be over right then. No questions, no second chances, over. No guy owns me just because we married.

No one has the "right" to abuse anyone! You're stupid. Women get arrested everyday for abuse. Who truly deserves to be hit or beaten? NO ONE.

Actually, if you slap your husband, the police will take you in if he calls them.
And NOBODY deserves to get smacked around, no matter what they do. Anyone who resorts to violence is weak, weak, WEAK and not an adult. Grownups can talk about things and reason them out without beating each other up.

You're full of it. I was arrested bcuz my husband stole my tuition money then when I tore up his picture he tried hitting me with a wrought iron steel coat hook. When I swung back he got the mark so I went to jail AND was put on Probation for a year. KNOW YOUR FACTS

its because men have dominated women for so long and slapping or masing men is one way to insure they dont try to go power crazy again over women

Women DO GET ARRESTED for physical abuse...it's just not as often as men.....No amount of physical abuse is ok NO MATTER WHAT HAS BEEN DONE! NONE!
