yes i believe you should you for it but don't do anything sexual as he is still a child and no as far as i am concern forgetting what the other say 12 and 16 there is not to much of an age difference as i am 19 and my fiance is 30 so i believe it is what is in your heart that counts not the age gap but i stress DO NOT DO ANYTHING SEXUALLY until he is 16 and if he is ready don't push him or pressure him because if you do he is likely to push you away

It's probably too much of an age diffrence. Your experiences, the things you're going through in life, etc are diffrent right now. You should probably look somewhere else. Keep in mind that he's only twelve! No twelve year old, gay or straight, has relationships like sixteen year olds do, theirs are always temporary and ridiculous... in a sort of jaded way. I know I didnt make any sense just then, sorry. Think about it. It's not a good choice. Look for someone a lot closer to your age, it would be a lot better for you and him.

he's 12 right now he don't know if he's gay or not!! Ur 16 no don't go out wit him, and ur 16 u should wait till ur at least 18 and wait for him if he truely is gay untill he is 18!! Damn he ain't even in his teens Yet Good luck!!

If he is 12, and you are 16, it is not appropriate at ALL. Stay away from him.

ok.. even if you werent gay.. hes wayy 2 young
and i dont think a 12 year old would know if he is gay or not!! how could he know so young! it makes no sense

you are too old for him. 4 years is way to big of a gap until you the youngest one is 18 (an adult)
