I have this crush in my class computer science121 and he is so smart.
But he seems to be avoiding me. I am already friends with all his friends but not him. He already knows me but doesn't talk to me at all.
I am really close with his best friend because we used to be classmates. But whenever we talk, he goes away or doesn't join the conversation. I talked to him once, but that was it(about an activity at school).
I have tried to avoid him, so that this crush thing would go away... it didn't... and i'm confused ..
why?

no he is not involved with someone right now....
no he does not know i like him, i didn't tell anyone and my tongue does not stick out when he is around... i even try to avoid him now most of the time..

So have you told any of his freinds that you like him, If not, you ought to, Never know he may feel the same way about you but feels awkward to see you, Ask your freind if you could find out what his fellings are towards you,
If you don;t like him, yes the crush thing does linger on for a while, a few weeks

the reason why he probably rejects or leaves conversations is maybe because he may feel the same about you and cannot say it to you. or maybe he is with someone. or maybe he thinks of you only as a friend and nothing more. why don't you try asking him but little by little in a conversation when you get the chance and see what happens.

The reason why your crush didn't go away is because you probably to the most of your abilities can-not not like him. Your crush on him is bigger than your fight back.
Why did u try to evade him?
well try to get near him more, that is my advice. (its not good, but it is all that you can really do at the momentum).

If that's the case then he don't like you or maybe he does just he just probably don't want to make a fool of himself. I don't know. In my opinion he don't like you and he knows you like him and that might make him uncomfortable but I could be wrong. Just avoid him and see how he acts.

he might be avoiding you because he likes you but he might be afraid to tell you or afraid he might say something wrong while he's talking to you.
