Everytime I go to the south to visit I find that sistas are a lot more friendly. In Los Angeles it seems as if sistas have a hollywood mentality. I know one thing I can't wait to move to the dirty south not just because of the sexy nice ladies there but LA is too hollywood for this brotha.

i am no happy with the way the things are going in my life.and i feel like giving up every now and then.I 20 year male from india.I have no friends and i lonely.I always wanted to talk with people and make friends but the thing is that i do not know how to talk,what to talk with others.I mean i can't talk like a normal person.i am like a mum.I dont know what is worng with me.How should i live like this.IF i meet a person whom i know then i will just say " HI" and that;s all I cant say anything more.And if the person asks me something i will not understand it at one time.Loneliness is killing me.Now people just ignore me.Nody cares me.What should do to change this.I tried changing it but i could not succeced.Is there any ray of hope?

My dorm mate and were friends from first year when we just started school. He had a girlfriend and I was single but we just hung out as friends and study buddies. Second year rolled around and we end up on the same floor only I have a bf now.
My dorm mate is with another girl and my bf's been away(in another of my questions) from a guy's perspective and ladies too. a) Is it wrong for me to hang out with him? b) is it wrong for me to hang out with him if I know he likes me c) is it wrong to hang out with him if I told him that there can be no us (again in regards to last question I am going to stay with my bf, he is trying to finds a closer school)

People i really need your help on this one... My wife is from africa and Im from the states. This is the deal, myself & my wife and her sister live in the same home. Example when we are all in the same room watching a movie/news/game show, you get the point they will speak in there language. She feels, (my wife) that this is not rude what do you feel & I have told here how i feel on this matter. Heres the kicker they are from a british coloney there english is very good. I have a big problem with seeing these dudes getting busted and treated like dirt by police when they just sit at home stoned and do nothing. Its the heroin freaks and all the junks that shoot up that make marijuana get a bad name..Fair enough they are lasy as and they eat all your munchies ...They are allowed to make up there own mind wether or not they are stoned and tired or straight and bored. You must agree that potheads are harmless . Alcahol is so much worse than marijuana. It is a shocker...

met this guy at a party wed night, one thing led to another and we ended up spending most of the evening together. We then went bar hoping till the early hours and he invited me back to his for more drinking. We ended up sitting on his sofa chatting and holding hands till 5am and then he asked me to stay over promising to be a total gentleman. He was, we went straight to sleep I woke up with him holding me and he kissed me for the first time in the morning. He is off on a boys holiday for 3/4 weeks on thurs, but asked for my number when I left and said he would call me when he got back.

1) Is the fact he was a gentleman indicative of him liking me or not being interested
2) Is it likely he just asked for my number to be polite
3) Is the fact he said he was going to phone on his return good indication he is thinking of pursuing this or the polite brush off
4) If he was really interested would he not call/text from hols nothing yet

any other comments?

When I have an issue or feel unhappy I like to talk to my husband about it as well as friends, of course. His usual reaction is that he does not want to talk as it is late or he is tired or it is not the right time or etc etc!!! He gets very defensive and sulks. What's the best way to deal with this apart from splitting up? Anyone else has this experience? Is this a common male phenomenom?
