I really like this guy but weve only been going out for a week and a half and hes started to get really controlling. But Ive heard stories from his family that he has been screwed over a lot in the past.

You simply tell him to slow down. If he can't respect your wishes then he IS controlling and you need to get as far away as fast as possible.

Well it depends on how much you want to deal with because usually the guys that jump into a relationship too fast have something to hide and want you to not find out before you are into it too deep!!!

Just don't do what my last guy did and that is to ignore the person. Be up front honest and talk to them face to face. If you need to end it I guess end it but don't do it by ignoring them or by putting it in a e-mail. Don't do it over the phone either. If you have any respect left at all for this person...do it face to face.

GET OUT! Unless you like a 2nd mother- get out. Don't you like yr freedom, nobody breathing down yr neck, barking at yr heels? Wouldn't you like to do whatever WHENEVER? Is this guy worth yr freedom?
