'love yourself, before others can love you'

Wow! what a question!,,This question truely deserves applause.I was, indeed, waiting to answer a question like this.We spend lot of time thinking about how to make others love us,how to impress them, and in the process we just let ourselves go.This has happened to me in the past,I was soo much in love with others that i totally forgot about me.The term "Self" was lost. But it was only when i lost the others,i realised that there is someone within, someone who is my best of best friend, someone who is always there for me.This someone is none other than ''ME".When i came to know that i am never alone coz the self is always with me,i started to love myself more than ever.I truely love myself. As i came to this planet with myself and will leave it one day with myself. Thanks for the question.

it goes well with girls, there is not as superficial a world for guys, they believe this is slightly irregular because it isn't in allot of the make up of how guys get raised, they get hounded for macho or don't feel anthing so you don't start anything as a safety net, i teach people that self love is what you have when you are happy with what you have some like it and some don't, monogamous people and bachelor are not in the same mind frame to analyze as where this question can go do to closet attitudes about revealing the wrong content to the wrong person can leave them with both their love and his own intact or warped

I think you learn to love and respect yourself with every mistake you make. Either you learn from it or die from it...I hate to make mistakes, I hate that sometimes I am naive...but you know I can't really think of myself being any other way. This is me...I am real.
So I have loved and lost...I have learned and won...Life is just full of lessons. You learn more about yoursef every day

9 out of 10 times I do, but then I think that maybe I'm not worthy of myself or anybody else. Then I take a look at my nephew and he brings all the joy of my life back into line again.

Yes. I do love myself. irrespective of all short comings which i have in myself. I am in a position to compare myself with ot her persons who are in my society and to look their doings and misdoings. I am in a position to guage my shortcomings and it is the first step to change the vices into good qualities. It is just possible if you know as to where you fail in this world and what can be done to overcome those short comings.

No I don't love myself... I don't like myself very very much, but I give myself KUDOS for staying kind all these years, and not letting out my true anger on the people around me (much). Yes, high five to that one.

-I like the quote =)

i totally agree.....loving yourself is the hardest thing someone can do...that's why we always tend to look to others for love... it's easier to get it from the outside, then from the inside....don't yo agree??
