My mother is trying to make my wedding cake for me. She is taking a standard cake recipe and trying to make an 8", 10" and 12" cake for the wedding. Last night she made the 12" and, while the cake tasted no different, the consistency was different. It was denser and darker. Also, she said she experienced the following: she tried to cook it under the same temperature as her standard 8" or 9" and when checking on it saw that it had risen greatly and pulled away from the sides....later it flattened but with a hole in the center....after that it cracked severely. Can anyone give me any help on how to cook a red velvet wedding cake?

i have a boyfriend. and most of my family members knoes about this. and its only my dad which doesnt know about me having a boyfriend... n im scared to tell him. he is a type of person which we go mad even though its not a big issue. and i always get bitten up by him... i really loves my dad alot.. and i also loves my boyfriend alot.. and we plan to get married soon. and all i need is for my dad to approve this relationship. i wants to tell him.. but im very afraid. i dun wanna lose both of them... what supposed i tell my dad?? what i supposed to do?? can sum1 please help me.!!!

He also loves me a lot...we live in a diferent country from his family's....now I am pregnant with my first child with him and he is happy about it....but im not too sure as im not even married to him and financialy there can be no problem but still...socially there will a lot....now i am on the verge of deciding not to have it...its my 18th week now so i need to hurry up in whatever i decide.....even i wish to have my kid but my parents will be lost forever as hey would never accept it...im feeling very helpless...as love is not everything which can make all things right....Im just 22 now he is 40...so i wish to settle with him now is the age to have my kid with him!!!!

I "mistakenly" sent an email that was meant for someone else, to the guy that I have a major crush on (it was just an attachment). I figured once he got the email and saw it wasn't for him, that he would respond telling me that I was mistaken, and that I would get the opportunity to start a conversation with him. However all he did was open the email (I received a read receipt) and nothing! No comment of how i mistakenly sent it to him, or that he was going to forward my message to the right person, just no response at all. Now even though we haven't spoken, he knows who I am, so once he saw my name he knew exactly who it was that sent the email. I'm thinking that he basically dissed me, that he didn't want to establish any form or communication with me what so ever so he just avoided the whole thing, what do you figure? I really like him and thought this would have been a good ice breaker, since i'm too shy to approach him, but now I don't think I should?

We have been married for about 5 years now. The past 3 years, it has been me going to him for sex, but I have stopped going to him. I want him to come to me, to want me. He rarely hugs or kisses me, and when he does kiss me, it is a little peck on the lips. I am a blunt person, I tell it like it is, so he knows my feelings about his lack of affection towards me. He has said for the last 2 years that he will do better and I have yet to be approached or desired. I gained weight, a lot of weight, but have been working out and lost 4 sizes so far (I am a 14 now). Anyway, I just want to know what I should do. I brought up counseling several times, but have had no results from him about going. I am seriously considering finding a man on the side for my needs of affection. What do you think I should do?

Hey, I have a question..I like this girl in my college class, and she was telling me she was hungry, so I stepped in and offered to take her out somewhere. This class was at night and it was aroung 10 pm, so I figured no decent restraunts were probably open. I asked her what she likes and she said no breakfast and no seafood. Ok. I just had a son. His father put me through pure hell while we were together. He has cheated on me, while we were on the way to the hospital he stopped by the ATM to make me get money out of my account to pay bills, WHILE I'M IN LABOR!!!, not to mention ignores me in the delivery room. I dumped him after that but I do still love him. We both worked together at the same job it was a job that I enjoyed a lot and my maternity leave is almost up and I have the choice to go back. I'm not sure if I can emotionally handle it and I don't know where to begin healing from the whole situation.Should I go back for my son's sake?
