I "mistakenly" sent an email that was meant for someone else, to the guy that I have a major crush on (it was just an attachment). I figured once he got the email and saw it wasn't for him, that he would respond telling me that I was mistaken, and that I would get the opportunity to start a conversation with him. However all he did was open the email (I received a read receipt) and nothing! No comment of how i mistakenly sent it to him, or that he was going to forward my message to the right person, just no response at all. Now even though we haven't spoken, he knows who I am, so once he saw my name he knew exactly who it was that sent the email. I'm thinking that he basically dissed me, that he didn't want to establish any form or communication with me what so ever so he just avoided the whole thing, what do you figure? I really like him and thought this would have been a good ice breaker, since i'm too shy to approach him, but now I don't think I should?

If I were single and I received that email form a girl I was not interested in I would ignore her to avoid an uncomfortable situation. The sad truth is he is not interested. Sorry to break your heart.

It’s normal to have a crush for someone. The strength of
attraction, however, can lead you to a state of self-denial.
This is when you refuse to accept the facts, voluntarily or
otherwise. I’m saying this to help you to get a grip of the
situation and consequently avoid further complications.

Don't. If he was interested in you, then he would have responded.
