It's lust at first sight (physical attraction), love comes later.

I'm sure you're disappointed with some of your answers, to wit: love at first sight must involve having goals? That's not only materialistic, but completely ignorant of the question.

Yes, I believe in love at first sight. To believe in this love, you must believe in the human soul, something that is beyond our physical brain and rational consciousness. Love at first sight happens when a person catches your eye that you immediately feel a chemical attraction to, but you also feel something else. Your two souls have communed beyond the boundaries of reason and you have (no, not completely known them) but received a flash of their soulful essense and become pleased by that too. Its much like finding someone you think is beautiful, time stops, they run over to you and serve you a small taste of your favorite ice cream, they run back, and time starts again. You see something you like, but you also like something that you've somehow just tasted.

That is love at first sight. The key with it is to never possess it - read Kahlil Gibran - and to allow it to unfold just the way that first moment unfolded: outside of your willing and control.

Remember where you live, though, and realize that unfortunately love at first sight and true love are not always the same thing.

No, but lust at first sight. Love suffers long and is kind, love does not envy, love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek it's own, is not provoked, thinks no evil, does not rejoice in wrong doing, but rejoices in truth (what is right), bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails...So how can an individual say it's love at first site and not know the person? How can a person say they have love, but disregard God when God "IS" Love?

Now it's safe to say that at the first sight of seeing someone I was attracted to them. That's different...but it still may roll over into lust, b/c love will "never" ask you to do anything ungodly.

No, I believe in lust at first sight. How can you instantly fall in love with someone you saw on the street and not know a thing about them? The initial attraction is their looks. The qualities I would want is someone that is honest, kind, caring, loving, smart, sexy, sensual, funny, adventurous and laid back.

I do. Has to be light but engaging. Must have goals, care for humanity and be smart (book smart and life smart). Has to be on the right track financially. Must not be abusive in any way ( e.g. emotionally, mentally, verbally or physically). Just has to be a good person. For the lighthearted, it doesn't take much to love someone.

I think that young men are susceptible to LUST at first sight, and many young girls fall prey to a smooth line at first chance ....but love(true love) is more than likely found after time spent
