Hey, I have a question..I like this girl in my college class, and she was telling me she was hungry, so I stepped in and offered to take her out somewhere. This class was at night and it was aroung 10 pm, so I figured no decent restraunts were probably open. I asked her what she likes and she said no breakfast and no seafood. I really wanted to take her to a nice place, but we ended up at a fast food place. Do you think she thinks of me as a tight wad or something? Also I did not think this night was a "date" or anything but do you think she thought it was??

Considering it was on the spur of the moment, she may not think that. However, she probably do think you like her (or you wouldn't have brought her anything), so why don't you ask her out on a date and take her to the nice restaurant (if you can afford it).

First of all, it was late, I don't know many people that want to eat that late. As far as being a tight wad, you were doing something nice for her, she really doesn't have a right to think anything negative at all. I think you are a nice guy, and I really would not worry about it. There's alot of women out there who will appreciate you for who you are.

I think if I casually mentioned I was hungry and someone offered to buy me a meal, I'd be happy with what I got! Don't feel bad you didn't take her to a nice place--it was a spur of the moment thing and I doubt she was expecting candlight and violins.

No, you're not a tight wad, and no, it wasn't a date. Sounds like you're interested in her, so ask her out!
