I have always wanted to live in NJ near my family and work as a HS Biology teacher. In fact, while I was in the service I worked in a Master's in Education. I got a teaching job offer but turned it down to earn a higher income. I have been doing my current job for more than a year but I am still willing to give up the pay to do what I want and teach.

The problem, my wife loves our home, our town, and our lifestyle. I would give it up to live a more modest lifestyle and live near family. My wife has no significant family that she cares to live near.

She drives a Volvo, lives in a $400,000 house, and has a ski condo all supported by an inheritance from her mom and my higher salary. She is a secretary makes half the income I do. She doesn't want to give up some luxuries and move into a small house in my hometown.

Am I being selfish for cutting my salary in half and asking my family to live a more modest life so that I can do the job I have always wanted to and live nea

As a gift for my gf I was thinking about sending her one of my fav shirts or my favorite pair of running shorts (I run!) she lives FAR away. Do you think she'll like it? Any other article of clothing I should consider?? the point is that I want to send her an intimate gift and I'm running out of ideas, help plz!

Well I've been dating this guy for almost two months, and he said he liked me a lot, i really like him too, but here is the thing, he told me that he is not the type of guy to have a girlfriend, he has had one or two, but then what does that mean, am I not good enogh to be his girlfriend or something? Alright so there's this guy that I've known for almost two years. I think he's really hot but I don't know how he feels about me. We went to prom together but he left me at the dance for his ex-boyfriend. We didn't talk that whole summer but when my senior year started, he apologized to me and we agreed to put everything behind us. Well, a couple months later, he started talking to me again, but this time it was more friendly, and he gave me his number and said if I ever wanted to hang out to call him. I never did, because I was too shy (stupid I know). Well, I left for college this year, and I hadn't seen him since August. My friend had seen him a couple weeks before I came home for Thanksgiving break and she had told him that I was coming back and if he was excited. He told her, "Actually I am, because all of the guys around here are assholes." So, now I'm thinking that he likes me, and I really like him, too. So, does he really like me? Or am I just reading too far into this?

Its been 9 months now since my ex cruelly left me and my kids for someone else- totally over it and getting on with life, having usual arguments that crop up with exes but something came to my attn the other day. What if my maid of honor seems not that into my wedding? She is expecting a baby in January and I am getting married in September. Does it just seem like she is preoccupied or does she not want to be in it? Perhaps she is too consumed in her baby plans? How do I get her more into it? We have been friends since 3rd grade and we are 26 now. I would like her opinion on what looks good. Should I just plan it with my fiance then? This baby has changed her like she doesn't want to talk much and she is so into her boyfriend that it seems like there is no time for me. I think that my wedding couldn't have come at a worst time and I would rather not get married anymore! Help!

well there is this guy that i went out with, and i dont like him any more , we have all our school classes together my locker is ontop of his, and we have to be partners 4 everthing! My son's dad's name is Michael. My son's name is Desmond. The teachers name is Elana. Desmond came home one day, told me about his day, and say he laid in the bed with Daddy and his girlfriend and watched movies. I didn't ask any more questions b/c I shouldn't have to get info from my 4 year old. Another day, he says I went to dinner with Miss Elana. I called Michael and politely asked him about it. He said no they didn't go to dinner. 3 days later, he told me he did and he and Elana have been dating for 2 months. Before he told me this, he had Elana babysit Desmond at his house. I was given the impression that she was a paid babysitter from school......she knew they were something else. Since I am actively in my son's life and he's soooo young, don't you think they should have either a.) held off until she's not his teacher, b.) date discretely, not in his face, c.) have Elana talk to me about extending her role outside the classroom and d.) not lied about it?
