As a gift for my gf I was thinking about sending her one of my fav shirts or my favorite pair of running shorts (I run!) she lives FAR away. Do you think she'll like it? Any other article of clothing I should consider?? the point is that I want to send her an intimate gift and I'm running out of ideas, help plz!
Does this sound silly or childish?

I think that is so sweet! and a great idea for a gift that comes from the heart. whatever you decide to send her, be sure to put some of your favorite cologne or after shave on it so it will smell like you, and every time she see's it and smells it she'll think of you. you're a sweetheart, and your girlfriend will love your gift.

Well, If I was your girlfriend, I would think it would be a little strange sending me clothing. But it would be very romantic because when my long distance boyfriend sent me his favourite shirt, when I hold it he is always in my heart. Add a touch of colonge or something that smells like you that she will like. Very sexy. I would atleast WASH the clothing before I send it to her. She would probably like some soft jewlery that doesn't cost too much, but is still stunning. Or manybe a soft clean fragrance. Something a girl would enjoy. Try cheaking a Sears or Old Navy or even a local store for some girl ideas.
Remember, all girls love the thought, not the price =]

If you wear the shirt first and then send it to her that would be nice, i would love to smell my boyfriend like that if he lived far away. But also send her something as well as that such as a nice necklace or something, or a poem that you have written. it doesn't sound silly or childish the fact that you have thought about it and even asked for advice that is so sweet and meaningful i wish more men were like you

I'd skip the running shorts. Send her a t-shirt or dress shirt to sleep in...very sexy...
You could also videotape yourself talking to her or doing something far more intimate if you're comfortable and think she'd respond well to it.
Anything heartfelt will feel intimate for her. Good luck!

I think that's pretty romantic, provided the clothes aren't stinky!
Send her a T-shirt that you sleep in. And tell her that thats what you wear when you dream about her. Ask her to do the same.
I'd skip on the running shorts, though.

It's a little weird but not unheard of. Don't do something really smelly and disgusting, try something like a T-shirt you slept in for a couple nights. Also include a teddy bear and handwritten note in case she doesn't like the shirt you send.

No its sweet. You want her to smell you since she cant have you there. Send a shirt with your picture on it and your a few sprays of Cologne that you wear. I am sure she will like the smell and a nice pic that she can sleep next to(add a small sample so she can keep your scent).

Well, I think a large T - Shirt would be the best. She could sleep in it. But, another gift should be considered too, but only you can think of another gift.

I think you had an awesome idea. If my SO and I lived far apart I would really love getting an article of his clothing. He once [when we weren't living together] had a pair of my undies!! He really liked it. Good luck! Underwear/ boxers is another good idea!!

I think it's find to send something intimate to your gf but also send something more traditional (i.e. flowers) so that she doesn't think your just being cheap. I once borrowed by bf scarf when he was going out of town to remember him by.
