best to find a place where you can all be at ease with one another and tell you chap to just be his self. make sure you have something that you all can talk about and not just a one on one with your dad and b/f DONT do any necking or kissing while your in your dads company and also just hold hand. Your dad needs to see that your both happy together and as long as you act like adults you should be OK. good luck

Let me just say, if your dad is anything like mine i can tell you now that he will HATE scott....and any other boy you get involved with.

all dads will act like the hard man...protecting their little girl, so the lad feels a little bit intimidated by him coz the dad is giving off them (take care of my daughter or else) vibes...dads look out for their baby girls, they want the best for them...so you lads out there...be aware that dad knows best....OK...and if you cross the line....god help ya....hun your dad will like him, but he wont tell him this just yet...he has to suss him out first.....

how are we supposed to know what your dad will think??? i was lucky with my bf, he used to go to school with my sis so she told my mum an dad how nice he was and now he gets invited to all the family occasions! (we've only been goin out for 3 weeks!!!!)

I'm sure that he will be just fine with your boyfriend. After all, your boyfriend seems to make you happy, and every dad wants to see his daughter happy! (or at least thats what mine keeps telling me!)
