that broke us apart was his huge debts to the Government and the other was his distorted ways of how to ask a wife to help him financially. He told me that I should work to pay for my food. In my country, here in South America, a husband would not talk to his wife this way. We work to help them out, but never to pay for our own food. I found it to be a rude way to address to a wife. I still struggle with this request of his. I found it to be sort of abusive. Not only that, he would always told me his son would come first and I quit my life in my country to follow him. I felt as an outsider at their home. That was too much and I had to leave him and came back to my country. Please, tell me......is this most American husbands acts towards their wives? There are times I wonder if he married me to help him out on his finances. This has been a struggle to me. I am back now and safe, starting a new life but I always wonder about this. Thanks a lot.

I have been friends with this person for about 3 years now. We both have busy lives, but we both have a lot in common and talk on the phone for hours when we have the time. The problem is, a relative staying with her deletes all my emails and is really rude to me on the phone and refuses to let me talk to my friend. I think she is jealous or something. Since she has came around, I have hardly spoken to my friend at all. I really want to keep my friend, but I dont want to cause problems. What should I do?

Hey,

I do Ballroom, Latin and New Vogue dancing and will start competing in National Dancesports next year. I met my current dancepartner about 5 weeks ago on dancesport webpage. We've been dancing together once or twice a week since for about 3 weeks, then things start heating up.

For the past couple of weeks, we would see eachother 3~4 times a week, half the time is spent dancing and the other half just hanging out. Also with ballroom, we always maintain really close body contact (from thigh to chest) and we are never afraid to get close. Also we just clicked from the first moment, we have absolute blast of time together, laughing no stop.

Things we do or happened that exclude dance are like :
Pick her up and drop her off from dance
Help her move house and hang out at her place
Went to her friend's bday barbeque together
Drove down to the beach at midnight
Look after her after gastropscopy
Share plates
Constantly I get invited to play sports
Massage injuries
Meals

I can not stand liars. I would rather get hurt from what they have done to me rather than get hurt from their untruthfulness. I would rather people tell me what they think of me to my face, and not behind my back. I can not be a b!@+ch and pretend to be someone's friend when I am not. Doesn't mean I have to be mean to them, just that i don't have to pretend that I love them. I tell people what I think, but not to hurt their feelings. I don't care what the answer is, so long as its the truth. Its because I don't care what people think of me, and I know I will always have a great bunch of friends with me, no matter what. If i know someone is being mean to me, or backstabbing me, or just *********.i.n.g about me, I confront them. I don't take revenge, just confront. Some people don't like me because of this. I'm not like other girls who can fake kindness. Does this make me a bad person because i tell people what i think upfront? Should I change and keep my opinions to myself?

I was really mean to this guy and acted like a crazy person..but he told me he could never be angry at me and he will miss me while I go to play in Italy and he hopes I can meet him somwhere and he won't forget me...why I was so cruel to him he was just a friend but I told him I could never love him cut him off my IM and then tried to re add him and he accepted..why is he can't be angry at me I can't understand...

I came out a decade long relationship and felt so lost, was slowly starting to move on and met this really amazing guy, went on a number of dates then he just ceased to contact me and i just feel so lost and lonely. I have a cousin who is male and 10 years old. He is the very energetic and playful type, and loves it when people tickle him. He is one of very few kids I know who actually like being tickled. Usaully when he comes over, or I go over, he gives hints to tickle him. Usaully its like him sitting next to me on the couch and putting his socked feet near me and saying things like "my feet are tired" or just starts getting his feet closer to me. I usaully just give him a quick tickle to have him pull away, but I don't know. It seems weird now, he is 10 and doesnt give up. One time I tickled his socked feet for a while hoping for him maybe to dislike it and quit with it already, but he laughed hysterically, thrashing his body everywhere, but he loved it. What do you think I should do? Does anyone else have a kid relative like this? Please let me know and give me your experiences with it. Thanks!

Ive had loads of problems with relationships ever since i started dating. I can't ever hold a relationship down for more than a few months, and its starting to really affect my confidence, even though i get told regularly that im attractive. I met this guy at a party a couple of months ago, and things were going great. he was attractive, funny, sweet and we met up regularly and had loads 2 talk about. i thought i had finally found someone who would stick around. he would send me texts each day telling me how much he liked me and that he missed me, and that he was glad we were together. however, last wed he came over my house 4 the first time, and we got intimate, although we didnt go the full way. i also got angry with him that day, bcos he said he would meet my family that day, but then told me he had 2 leave at 5 bcos of a job (hes a security engineer). He didnt contact me regularly from then on, blaming it on credit or 'a headache'. i got a text this morning telling me it was over.
