me and my girlfriend was together for 3 years and 9 months. we broke up 3 months ago. her dad died 2 weeks later. I broke up with her because she told me I didnt matter. I didnt know she meant I didnt matter when shes trying to spend time with her parents. shes 19 years old, Im 23 years old. through out the relationship it was hard for us to see each other because her parents were so strict that we had to sneak to see each other and only was able to talk on the phone 2 days a week. so the anger we got from that would be thrown at each other. but once we realized it we became a better relationship. she says we will never get back together because she felt I wasnt there for her in that stressful time of her dad. I've always been there for her through everything. im her first everything, boyfriend, virginity you name it except for a crush before me. she has a grudge against me, possibly dont like me as a person. my friends say she will come back but i dont know. do you think she

Okay, this may sound quite confusing: There's a guy at school I really like... A lot. The only things is, he's one of my best friends, and also totally oblivious to everything. Not in an 'ignoring' sort of way, he's just... I'm tempted to say naive, but that wouldn't be right either.
I can't figure out how to tell him that I want to be more then just friends, without making things totally awkwards between us. I know I could just tell him straight out, but being who we are, it would make it impossible to talk to each other normally if he dosen't share my feelings.
Anyone have any suggestions on what to do??? (It's taking a lot of guts for me to write this... Please be nice)

I have been separated from my ex for nine months now. Am over him, I know that. I have met some lovely people, get so close and then shut down, won't let them in. It frustrates the hell out of me, I can feel it happening but cannot stop myself. HELP!!!!!

Well I wanted to see how you all are doing? lol! Also if it's not too much trouble, tell me your take on this... an ex would like us to have a holiday together and I'm against it mainly because I feel since we broke up it's been a cat and mouse game ever since. Should i contact him or leave it.he lives down south we've been out twice before and slept together on the last date. he texts me to say he misses me and cant wait to see me again.He was going to come up last week but forgot to alter his appts.He offered to move them but i said leave it till next week.Plus i emailed him a couple of weeks ago to say if he didnt want to see me anymore then i'd appreciate him letting me know but he said he did want to see me.he is always a bit last minute and with work also.Is he messing me about.He said he'd phone on monday but hasn't.

I recently been in a longdistance relationship. Before this we lived-in together for more than year. Now, we are in a (4 hour flight) long distance relationship. I want to marry my girlfriend because first i love her and i waited 25 years to find and meet her. second, the only way we can be together again is to get married. we live different countries USA and SKorea. so getting a visa is the only way to be together again. the fastest way is fiance visa.

the problem is this. i proposed to her. She agreed and we had a long plan of setting up our future. but when i asked her mom, she told me that she needs to give her daughter 1 & 1/2 year before getting married. The background to this is that her mom feels lonely (she recently became widowed) so she needs to see her daugther to be happy. now her daughter agrees.

i dont think i can wait 1 & 1/2 year. it's like being divorced before marriage. what should i do? what would you do?

I recently started going out with a guy 4 weeks ago and last week he went on a school camp for a week to Queensland (I Live In Victoria) and when he got back his been acting strange. Like he ignores me and goes and talks to his friends rather than come and hug me when i was full on shivering. He joked about cheating on me ''oh yeah let me and patricia go back to making out like we did at queensland'' ''Oh im just joking'' then he playfully pushes me and its getting bad coz its hurting. And today at work i just finished and i went and talked to him and he told me to go away and go home coz im annoying and distracting him, im supposed to be girlfriend and his making me feel like im just one of his friends. Thank you so much to those who responded to my question. I will definitely think about the way I feel when I'm judged the next time I feel like judging someone else. It's not a good feeling.
