Well I wanted to see how you all are doing? lol! Also if it's not too much trouble, tell me your take on this... an ex would like us to have a holiday together and I'm against it mainly because I feel since we broke up it's been a cat and mouse game ever since. Although he says it's just an innocent 5-day getaway in Fiji, I'm still unsure. Your opinion would be greatly appreciated

Well, my take on it is you all broke up for a reason, right? There's a reason the word "ex" is there. You probably have already decided what you're gonna do anyway, and I think you know best. Go with the wise voice whispering in the back of your mind.

...and if you decide to go, lemme know how Fiji was...

Take the free trip, get access to the return electronic boarding passes and have a ball. Make sure he can't rescind any of the travel plans, try and be a cordial as you can without being obsequious and make sure that if all else fails you have the ability to carry on without his assistance, should anything go wrong. I may be paranoid, but paranoia's just another word for 'heightened awarenes'!

Go along for the ride, enjoy yourself make sure he pays for everything, tell him you want a ticket in your hand to get home if you need to,and he can return it when you get home if things work out, that gives you a out if you need it!!! Good luck have fun...

I say go, but insist on seperate rooms. And really, who says you have to do anything with them once you're there? Truely, unless you have feelings for this person, let it stay in the past.

he wants more than just to spend the holiday if he is taking you somewhere like that for 5 days. if you dont want to be inviolved with him again, i suggest you not go.

don't go, it's a trap to try to get you back. You'll end up miserable, & confused. It's like he's trying to buy you back with money... how much are you worth?
