I met my b'friend on 08 nov 2003, I told him I had been hurt so many times before and I didn't want to make any more mistakes in my life - he said he understood, we made up this thing called "the theory and the practical" - before we got on to the practical, we both had to feel comfortable with the theory.
We waited till 14th feb 2004 (just over 3 months) before anything happened. we went to a hotel for valentines and were awake all night (wink wink).
he told me about a year after that his opinion had always been if a girl puts out straight away - its not worth being hopeful for a serious long term relationship and he would of just used me and found someone else (sometimes he's a bit too honest).
so - if he waits - he's worth it I reckon.

For some men the thrill of the chase is an important factor and as soon as they find their way into your pants, all mystery and novelty will wear off. In their case, no matter how long you hold off they will rarely feel a true and profound level of respect as it is themselves that lack the notion of respect.
There is no right or wrong answer to this as it depends on the guy and the stage of life he is at. Chances are that in this case, the best tasting fruit is forbidden fruit.
On the other side.........ask yourself how you'd feel if he wasn't trying to get you naked? Woudl you be upset and are you actually flattered that he finds you sexually attractive?

Don't confuse the terms 'respect' and 'challenge'...men usually look at things from the standpoint of investment/return, and if he's put in his time working towards a specific goal with a woman, he wants to see that he hasn't been either fooled or wasted his time and effort. Women like to see it that way(respect vs. womanizing) because they don't want to believe that they are being marginalized and treated as objects. Men don't see it that way; we just don't much think about it one way or the other...

Yes there is a high probability that the guy may respect her, but like i said before there are no exact rules to the game, there are also men that fall in love with prosittutes and they marry them and respect them so it just depends; although that is extreme, but it does happened

Yes!
If he is pressuring you then he's probably not the right guy for you,
you will look back and regret being used because that is what he is doing. If he truly liked you then he would want you as a person and the sex would be an added bonus.

if the quality of your satisfaction is based on whether the woman puts out or not you have issues that range beyond this forum...try being a true partner and let nature take its course.

maybe he's testing you, I think even if men wouldn't admit it to friends deep down they really do respect that woman.
