Yes, you can survive without love, but you will never thrive without love.

I've been married twice, 4 years to the first husband and going on 24 to the 2nd. Grew up having parents that were alcholics, raped molested, etc., and have no idea what real love is. I'm 45 and have been "alone" all my life. No siblings, etc.

It's possible but a very lonely place to be.

There are different types of love - so I would say no it is not possible to live without "any" type of love because as humans we need love to survive - those who feel unloved usually end up with "severe" social disorders - need I list a few?

Romantic love is something that people can live without - and yes people have lived without it!

Is it easy? No. Do you get lonely? Yes. Can you survive? YES! Does it hurt like hell? Sometimes. Will you love again? I bet my bottom dollar on it!

Xx

Yes, but it ain't much fun...I'd say after 4 years, you need to have some fun and try and remember that you're the only one suffering. Do you like the pain, or is there a method to your madness? Just suffering because you loved the last person you were with is much like going hungry because the food you ate the night before was the best you'd ever had...that's nice, but it won't nourish you tomorrow! Go eat...

Yes if you mean a member of the opposite sex but it would probably be difficult unless you have lots of interests to keep you busy & close friends & family. What is it you like to do? I quilt & belong to a quilting guild where I meet many friends with similar interests. Same thing with genealogy &scrapbooking. If you do what you enjoy you just might meet someone.

Love is not as essential as water and food we can’t live without that; love is just an emotion and greases our life like a greased machine, when it is greased it becomes more easy going. Love is what makes life sweet not possible.

To some pple yes. To some no. To me I really don't know. Love may cause a lot of heartache but in the end, it might just be worth it.
