there is a girl i have been talking to through e-mail. i am just getting out of a relationship and we don't know each other well so we decided to take it slowly. she said in time she can tell me if she likes me too. but now she says that she sorta likes someone else and thinks they might like her to. so i'm really confused and don't want to get too invested but i don't want to not try at all. so what should i do? getting over her will not be easy. she is the most beautiful girl i've seen and i really like her mind and heart.
we have talked in person about 5 or 6 times around campus

But I'm ok.. should i expect an emotional break down anytime now? I've had a few good crying spells and all.. and I'm not perfectly fine. But I am feeling ok. I feel like i should be feeling worse right now? maybe this is the calm before the storm? anyone else ever feel like this?I do still love him, so that's not it. that's why im worried..

Also, he is the one who wanted the divorce. We got married very young which was a bad choice I think (20 yrs old). I do think though, that I was ready for it and he wasn't. I think he realized that he couldn't go out and do a lot of the things he used to do. It just seems to me like it is very easy on him which is bothering me

OK.. my grandaughter was being punished for sassing her Mom at their house , so her favorite tv program was taken away from her which I understand. When they are here we all always watch her favorite program, as we like it too. When they got to my house her Mom said to her, shut that program off now! Well I feel this is my house and we can watch whatever prgram we want to, as she did no wrong here..the girls are always good for me and it took place at their house and not at my house...my husband also agrees and likes the program also, actually it is the Disney Channel. She only watched it for a short time before the Dad came and picked them up and I wanted to let her watch it all the while she was here! It's not right to punish a child for something she did not do at my house is really how I feel. Please anyone give me your advice... I don't appreciate anyone telling me what to do in my own house or what tv program I can watch. Rosie

My boyfriend, John, and I have been dating for a year now. I really like him and although were too young get married (were in high school), we often think about it and would like that to happen. The problem here is that he's a non-Catholic (a jehovah's wintess I think) and I am a faithfull Catholic. To be honest, a year ago i would have never dated anyone outside my faith because I always wanted someone whom I can share my faith with. And although I like John a whole lot, I dont like the fact that were not able to share our faith (it has created conflicts in the past)- something I want in a relationship. I really like John, but will our relationship work despite our differences? I would really like us to have a great future together, but I also want it to include God in it. What should I do? Whats the best thing to do? Any advice is great! Thanks!

Please read this and advise your friends and family! You may save others' lives!

Incident One:
A little boy died because surgeons found ants in his brain! Apparently this boy fell asleep with some sweets in his mouth or with some sweet stuff beside him. Ants soon got to him and some ants in fact crawled into his ear which somehow managed to go to his brain. When he woke up, he did not realize that ants had gone to his head. After that, he constantly complained about itchiness around his face. His mother brought him to a doctor, but the doctor could not figure out what was wrong with him. He took an X-ray of the boy and to his horror, he found a group of live ants in his skull. Since the ants were still alive, the doctor could not operate on him because the ants were constantly moving around. The boy finally died.
So please be careful when leaving food stuff near your bed or when eating in bed.
This might attract ants. Most importantly, NEVER you or your child eat sweets before going to bed. You or your child might attract ants while you are asleep.

Incident Two:

Another similar incident happened in a hospital in Taiwan . This man was warded in the hospital and was constantly warned by the nurses not to leave food stuff by his bedside because there were ants about. He did not heed their advice. Ants finally got to him. His family members said that the man constantly complained about headaches. He died and a post mortem or autopsy was done on him. Doctors found a group of live ants in his head. Apparently, the ants had been eating bits of his brain.
So friends, better be safe than sorry. Never leave food stuff beside your bed you when you go to sleep.
Please forward this to your friends and relatives

Hi,

My estranged husband sends an expensive gift to me. He continues to send nasty emails to me all along and blame me for everything. If I accept the gift....he will point out that afterall I was always materialistic. If I dont, he will turn around and say I have a massive ego and my intention is only to put him down.

What is the best course for me to take ?

I have been seeing a married man for three years on and off. For four months we lived in the same city and saw each other once a week. Then, I moved back to australia for a year, and he visited me once. Then I moved back to Japan but to a different city. We see each other every two and a half months or so. We really love each other and have an awesome time together. He says he hasn't slept with his wife for years. Most of the time I am realistic with myself, but sometimes I fantasize about him leaving his wife and asking me to be with him for good. Am I nuts? Do I have a chance?

He drinks thrice a week and smokes every day. He surfs and chats on the net late night which I hate.He finds fault with every thing I do even though I try to bring out my best. I think he gives importance to every one else in the world , than his wife and two sons. Sometimes we dont talk even for a week.We are of 39 yrs and completed 14 yrs of marriage. We had a love marriage.Though I talk of breaking off every time, he never does. Once in a while he acts like a good husband also and then after a day or two, the same old story. What should I do.Will some wise man advise me?

Well I know for a fact this girl likes me she's a sophomore I'm a senior and I guarantee she feels intimidated. Well either way. I added her on myspace after I talked to her a few times. She was really shy quiet and to herself but she's extremely beautiful.

When we got going on MySpace we couldn't stop we had a convo of about 20 messages back and forth and she ended it by telling me to call her and left me her number. So uhm... yea I was kinda like is she really that shy? Hell I'm afraid to call cause I'm shy.

Anyways, it's weird cause after that day she won't look at me in the halls she seems terrified and avoids me.

I'm thinking of not doing anything right now and tomorrow look at her down the halls and if she doesn't notice me to draw up a cute picture and send it to her over MySpace and tell her I'm sad, then when she asks why I'll say because she didn't wave at me. How's that seem?

Some types of extravagant spending:

1...Extravagant weddings: Americans now spend an average of $30,000 on getting married and the more affluent often shell out six figures.

2.,,“Premium” coffee-to-go: It’s okay to treat yourself occasionally to take-out coffee; it certainly tastes better than most home or office brew. But twentysomethings buy $3 java drinks.

3...Expensive option packages on new cars: Thanks to all-too-easy credit, our average-priced new car now sells for almost $30,000.

4...Cigarettes: We puffed away $88 billion worth of tobacco products in the U.S. last year, and people in New York City now fork out $7 for a pack of smokes.

5...Fuel-inefficient vehicles: In the mid-1980s, we all questioned the sanity of people still driving gas guzzlers – and now most of us are spending $40 to $60 a pop filling up our own.

6...Christmas shopping: It’s not what we blow on holiday gifts -- $450 billion last year -- but how thoughtlessly we spend much of that sum that’s become a colossal waste.

I think I may have used my words in the last question a little too loosely. Im not exactly repulsed by my husband but rather "put off" by my husband. I hate the thought of having to have sex with him because (as many of you quessed) sex=pregnancy, and I DO NOT WANT another baby. But I think the bigger contribution to my feelings is because of the lack of respect and hurtful words my husband say's to me when ever he gets mad. He accuses me of cheating (which I have NEVER), he calls me fat (only when he's mad of course), and does not respect anything that I do, whether for him, the family, the kids, the house, the bills.. ANYTHING! Thankfully our marriage has never been physical (fighting wise) but that old saying "sticks and stones may brake my bones but words will never hurt me".. is a horrible horrible LIE! I think words hurt the most! But overall, (even though all your answers were VERY eye opening) this problem IS bigger than I had imagined, and I agree with all of you.. I need help

I have lots and lots of ice cubes no matter the weather. I'ld even have a cup of coffee after having them (for warmth) if its too cold. Instead of water, if i can lay my hands on ice cubes the better. I also prefer that ice that builds up on its on in the refridgerator. Is this healthy. Wont it have any side effects in the future. I don't do it out of choice, its like i cant do without ice.
