Ok, I hope I don't sound like a total jackass for saying this, but I'll say it since I'm not in the situation and I don't have to worry about hurting anyone's feelings. Guys hate cards. I understand that to a lot of the ladies, getting a card is great, because it shows that you were being thought of. Guys don't need that kind of reassurance (not saying we're better, we have some stupid insecurities, too...think about how stupid penis envy is!).

Anyway, I would be psyched to get something like a samurai sword set, or a Beirut Kit (beer pong), a video game I've been lusting after, basically anything that eventually requires the use of a power outlet and a screen! What kind of a girl friend are you, if you yourself do not know your boy friend's likes & dislikes. If he likes to eat well, then take him to a hotel & ask him to eat all that he wants. If he is an art lover, take him to a museum & buy him a picture or two. If he is a movie buff, take him for a movie. If he is a great reader, buy him a good book. If he is that orthodox type, take him to a temple. If he is a music lover, buy him some good CD's or casettes. So you are the best judge. Try to remember his likes & dislikes, & buy a suitable gift accordingly.
