I have lots and lots of ice cubes no matter the weather. I'ld even have a cup of coffee after having them (for warmth) if its too cold. Instead of water, if i can lay my hands on ice cubes the better. I also prefer that ice that builds up on its on in the refridgerator. Is this healthy. Wont it have any side effects in the future. I don't do it out of choice, its like i cant do without ice.

You say you don't do it out of choice, therefore it is probably not that healthy..... I mean mentally, not physically. Clean ice cubes won't do you any harm physically, but if you literally cant do without them then you obviously have some sort of dependency on them.

Try to wean yourself off them - have less and less each time and try and leave longer gaps in between the times you have them.

If you can't do this, then you better see a doctor.

I guess eating ice is okay, even when it's cold. Watch out for the ice that builds up in the fridge or freezer. Ice tends to carry a lot of germs, especially if it picks up other germs from food in the fridge. I wouldn't advise you to do that anymore.

Water is a huge part of your bodys requirements (it whatever form you choose to drink/chew it lol) The more you can drink, the better really. As for the freezer thing.... It wont have any germs as such because freezing kills germs. But i cant imagine it tastes very nice! Hope this helps, and thanks for mental image of you licking your freezer door. Its sure to keep a smile on my face all day!

Eating a lot of ice could be something like an iron deficiency. You should be tested.

Sounds like you are a bit OCD. I would find a good shrink and get on some meds and therapy ASAP.

Good luck,

A
