Okay, this may sound quite confusing: There's a guy at school I really like... A lot. The only things is, he's one of my best friends, and also totally oblivious to everything. Not in an 'ignoring' sort of way, he's just... I'm tempted to say naive, but that wouldn't be right either.
I can't figure out how to tell him that I want to be more then just friends, without making things totally awkwards between us. I know I could just tell him straight out, but being who we are, it would make it impossible to talk to each other normally if he dosen't share my feelings.
Anyone have any suggestions on what to do??? (It's taking a lot of guts for me to write this... Please be nice)

Oh tough one. No wonder you are in a state of confusion. If he is a close friend of yours anyway have you thought about suggesting outings and activities that are just for the 2 of you rather than with a group of friends. Spending more time alone with him should help you to gauge how he feels. He could be feeling exactly the same as you are and equally scared to say anything. Be patient. If you are meant to be together it will happen in the end but don't expect him to pick up on hints. In my experience men are remarkable dim in that department.

Good luck.

This feeling must be tearing you up inside but you should think about several things first. If he didn't share the same feelings for you, who knows what he would do. He could take advantage of you and that would lead to a lot of problems. But since he is probably one of your best friends, you would know him better.
You should still remain friends with him. If he didn't share the same feelings about you, then you shouldn't hold anything against him. Who knows? It would hurt him as well, if you ignored him because you are best friends. You should stick together no matter what. Good luck...

I think you need to confide in a close female friend who can chat casually with him about you and then you will be able to find out if he would ever see the two of you as a couple...get your friend to ask him if he would ever date..and list lots of girls at school and she can say your name and then she can ask him more info but include other girls so he doesn't get suspicious.

Write him a short funny letter. You know what you have to write, I hope?
