I would say that she is quite shy & this way she doesn't have to think about what she is saying.
Are you saying that you don't want to be friendsanymore because of her singing?
You sound like you want to replace her with your new college friends. It sounds like a real silly thing to fall out over. Surely she was doing this when you first became friends?
If it is the real reason for you going off her, then maybe you need to talk to her about it. When she does it again, try saying that you have a headache so could she stop singing and see how she reacts.
We all need good friends so think long & hard about your future.
Good luck :-)

what a character.you know what ?having different people around can be annoying, but that can also be fun.If you like this persons persona, odd as it sounds, then continue the friendship, introduce her as she is and some will find her silly and some will find her interesting.don't throw her away because she' different or weird acting. If new friends are turned off so be it,that's a good way to learn acceptance and those that choose to pick on her will show to be the kind of people that you probably won't like eventually any way.

hayley sounds immature and your new college friend will see that. You should sing to her "i want to smack u upside the head when u sing" haha just to see if she stops. Or tell her it's a bit immature your other friends will thank you!

Help her find a professional that can get her started on the road to recovery. Other than that, be there for her if she needs you.
